Saige's POV

Sometime last night during my watch, I fell asleep.

Harry volunteered to take first watch, but I didn't trust him enough for him to protect us just yet. I pretended to asleep on the couch, but I really just listened to Harry behind me, making sure he made no weird moves.

Sometime after we switched, I lulled off into sleep, not waking until I heard shuffling in the kitchen. I jumped awake, falling off the couch.

"You alright, love?" Harry's deep British accent rings in from the kitchen.

I look up, my breath catching in my throat as I glanced at him. He was shirtless, revealing all his tattoos I wasn't aware he had, his hair free from the bandanna. He handed me a bottle of water and the meds for Asher.

"It's about time for another dose for your friend." He said, pulling a black hoodie over his head.

"Thank you." I said before turning to Asher.

"Ash.." I sang softly, brushing my fingers through his hair. "Time to wake up."

He shuffled, opening his eyes and glancing at Harry, who hovered over me. "Am I dreaming or is there really someone that good looking standing behind you?"

I rolled my eyes and laughed. "He's a new friend, his name's Harry."

He waved awkwardly, sending a soft smile. "Hello."

Asher took his medicine, drank some water, and ate some soup. I was glad he was starting to feel better, but it would still be a few more days before he's up and ready to go.

Harry was brushing his fingers through his greasy locks, pushing them back before tying the bandanna around his head, holding his hair back. I sent him a soft smile before getting to my feet.

"We need some more water and some food." I mumbled, mostly to myself.

"I can go out, if you like." Harry offered, pulling a long sleeve shirt over his head, shivering against the cold.

"You don't have to go by yourself." I said to him.

He chuckled lowly. "I've been on my own for a few months, I can manage it."

"You sure?" I asked. "I can get Ash back upstairs and go with you."

"I got it," he nodded, grabbing his bag and gun. "You stay here with him."

I nodded, watching as he went to the door, reaching for the doorknob before I spoke up again.

"Hey, you're coming back, right?" I asked him softly.

He nodded.

"All right," I said before smiling. "Grab some tampons, if you will."

"We've known each other for barely 24 hours and you're already forcing me to get you lady products." He said before sending a smile.
