Chapter 6 part 3

I get on my way to school and it feels like I haven't been there in years

Walking in people just look at me it takes one look from Ethan's ex to remind me of why i hate it here

I stand by the front of the school waiting for E

She comes over not that I'm even phased

"Look who's back"

I just look back at her

"Ok"

"I was making a point of ur absence where have you been and what have you done to Ethan"

"None of your business ... why are you talking to me ?"

"Because i can and i will "

"Well I don't have time for this"

her friends all gasp at my response

"How dare you" she goes to slap me across my face

"Are you actually insane" i look her dead in the eye whilst holding her hand "like what is your actual problem with me don't think that its ok for you to ever lay your hand on me" i get closer to her ear "because i will seriously make sure you end up in a hospital"

Letting go of her hand she rubs her wrists walking away

"Bye then" i wave walking to my lesson

I don't know how i got this far behind honestly

Getting all my stuff back into my bag before running into someone

"Fuck shit sorry" i look up "Graysonnn"

"Your back in school"

"Yep"

"Are you having any trouble with-"

"No she's just around "

"Tell me if anything "

"Gray I'm alright... just where's Ethan"

"I don't know we came in late bur we came together"

"Oh ok"

"Ethan!"  I walk over to him

"Hi" he sniffs

"Baby what's wrong"

"I can't do this"

"Go in there"

"Ethan listen to me" i watch as he slowly looses eye contact and breathing heavily "Its ok its alright just breathe" i drop my bag holding his face so that he was forced look at me i get a water out my bag "Ethan come on drink please"

"Do you wanna go? we can leave" i say still holding his face

After calming down he finally looks me in the eye pulling my into a tight hug i hold him tight

"You are my everything"

"Ethan its me I'm making you like this"

"How can you say that"

"I lean on you so much to be my rock and I don't want you to have to deal with that"

"It was a anxiety attack i hate it here"

"Not everything is about you Sidney!!" He gets up angered "for fuck ... maybe your right I need a break"

"Thats not what I meant" i sit on the grass crying "and you know that's not what i-"

"Just stop talking"

"What happened from this morning to now because I don't understand you because you don't speak I force you too"

"I gotta go"

I don't say anything I just get up and follow him we get to a bus stop and he looks at me

"Why are you still here go to school Sidney"

"No"

"Go to-"

"I'm not leaving you because I know you Ethan I know you're going to do something stupid"

"I'm going home"

I turned away from him crying I can't force him to love me

"So we're over then"

"I just...I can't right now"

"Your a stupid piece of shit I know your just upset that i saw you so vulnerable and that's meant to be me in your eyes anyway"

"Just let me go home alone"

"Fine go its not like your going to explain why you're being like this "

"Because I can't explain I don't even know Sidney!!!" He shouts at me before getting on the bus

I hear the bell go to tell my break is over but I can't go back I feel Ethan's anger is built up of everything

I sit at the bus stop for over and hour just sitting here

Everything is just fucked up

I get on the bus not that i know where it's going
A hand grips my shoulder knowing exactly who it is i turn seeing the widest smile

"Hi Grayson" I wiped my tears

"Whats he done"

"I don't know what's wrong with him gray"

"His either going to love me or hate me for this be here " gray says giving me some keys " I'm not going home but for your piece of mind go check on him"

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah don't worry Sidney" he hugs me "I've always got your back" pressing the bell he turns to me "this is ur stop"
