I am so excited that you all are liking my story. I was actually sad after I stopped writing because I liked this story so much, but I didn't think you guys cared for it.

Mom: "Stop ignoring my phone calls, Claire. I didn't know your father was going to do that to you." 11:07 p.m.
Me: "You promised you'd never let him put his hands on me again. I trusted you, but now I know better. Goodbye, Mom." 11:08 p.m.
Mom: "Claire, it won't happen again." 11:08 p.m.
Me: "You said that last time." 11:08 p.m.
Mom: "Grow up, Claire. We all got hit or worse." 11:09 p.m. Mom: "Claire?" 11:09 p.m.
I turned my phone off and put it in my purse before taking the popcorn out of the microwave and going back into the room with Rome.
Being away from him for only a few minutes made me miss him more.
"It took you a long time to pop that popcorn." Rome said upon my entrance.
"Yea." I said while taking off my house shoes and laying close to him, letting him put his arm around me. "What are you watching?" I asked.
He smirked at me, then turned the television off.
"I'm trying to watch you." He said, kissing my lips repeatedly.
Feeling more nervous with each second, I couldn't hold it in anymore.
"Rome, I'm a virgin!" I blurted, quickly covering my mouth with my hand.
Rome and I have known each other for almost a year and have been dating for a couple of months, but when it came to sexual topics, he was playful about it, so I never took him seriously.
He froze in his tracks as he stared at me for a while.
"You're a virgin?" He asked for confirmation.
I nodded my head slowly, afraid of what he'd say next.
He sat still before speaking again.
"There's nothing wrong with it. We need more virgins and less hoes." He said, as a smile graced his face.
I studied him for a moment trying to determine if he was being serious.
