"How does this look?" Claire asked Rome after putting on yet another outfit.
"Baby, it looks good. The first three you had on looked good. The one you had on before those looked good. Pick something before we be late, Lea," he responded, as he sat on the bed to wait again.
"I'm trying. I just need to look nice. I've never had lunch with my brothers and sisters before," she said before speaking again. "Maybe I should change back into my--"
"Claire, I swear to God," Rome said, stopping her from going back into her closet.
"Ok, jeez. Someone is impatient this morning." Claire said as she stepped into her shoes.
"I'm not, baby," he said, pulling her to stand between his legs. "You put on five outfits in 20 minutes. We got people waitin' on us, & you're worrying about some pants," he said, grabbing her waist. "I know you're nervous, but we gotta go. You've been waiting on this day too long."
She let out a breath before speaking. "You're right. I'm just scared, babe."
"I'm right here. There's nothing to be scared of," he said, causing her nerves to calm.
He realized that whenever she was worried about something, she'd overthink little things, such as an outfit, therefore making her more nervous than she needs to be.
"You're right," she said, placing a kiss on his lips. "Let's go."

We all sat and listened to Shannon and Shaq talk about skydiving for their 18th birthday. Hearing everyone's stories just made me realize how much of their lives I missed out on, & the more I thought about it, the more I realized I was unknowingly upset.
