I have been gone for entirely too long.
Don't hate me.
Remember, "Claire," "Lea," and "Mo," is the same person. She just has lots of nicknames because I like all of them, ya dig?

"So what's it like in Tennessee? Is it as country as it looks in the movies?" I asked my oldest brother, Lawrence Jr, but everyone calls him 'LJ'.
"It's not that bad, actually. We live in Nashville, so it's not too boring." He said, turning his head as a smile spread across is face. "God, Mo, I can't believe how old you've gotten. Last time I saw you, you were just a baby, and I only know that because of pictures momma used to send in the mail."
He took a breath before speaking again.
"I know you think we abandoned you, and I'd probably feel like that, too. But truth is, I never even knew momma was pregnant with you. After she asked me to take Lena, I thought she was done," he said.
"What do you mean she asked you to take Lena?" I asked obviously confused.
"It's good to see all of you," Angeline spoke with a smile, putting an end to LJ & Claire's conversation.
"Yea," Claire replied smiling lightly. "Too bad these are the circumstances it took for us to be together again," she said as she forced herself to push her and LJ's discussion to the back of her head as she looked at her brothers and sisters.
LJ is 36, the oldest of all. Shannon and Shaq are twins. Shaq was born 3 minutes before Shannon, so he's constantly holding it over her head the he's older, though they're both 33. Lance is 32, then Lena, whom is 30, then there's Claire, 28.
"We planned on coming a long time ago, but with marriages and babies, we hadn't found a time that was good for everyone," Shannon said.
"How is baby Kali?" Angeline asked, speaking to Shannon.
"She's smart and sassy, just like me," Shannon laughed.
"Unfortunately," Shaq retorted, earning a shove from Shannon.
"I'm an aunt and I didn't even know?" I asked. "Mom, did you know you were a grandma?"
"I did," she said. "I've been talking to my children for years," she smiled. "Just because Lawrence didn't want anything to do with them doesn't mean I didn't."
"Yea. He was pretty fucked up," Shaq said as he spoke about their father. "He's getting what's coming to him for putting his hands on you, ma. That's hella facts."
"Damn straight. Momma told us that he hit you, Claire. Believe he's gonna pay for that shit, too," said Lance.
"You two better watch your mouths," Angeline said as she pointed her finger at them.
