Change of heart

Marlee’s POV

     “Ash… I… I’m sorry. I can’t go out with you.” I said quietly. I knew what he was thinking. He was thinking I won’t go out with him because of Remus, and he’s right. I didn’t like him like that. I liked Remus end of Story. “Why? He’s too caught up in his own world to even notice you! He’s not going to suddenly change his mind about everything and just begin to love you. You can’t wait forever Marlee. When you’re tired of waiting on him come find me… just remember. When you come looking it might be too late.” Ashton growled. I knew he was right. Remus wouldn’t have this sudden change of heart. He wouldn’t come to love me… Am I wasting my time? I asked myself. “Ash wait!” I yelled to the boy walking away from me. “You’re right. I can’t wait forever. Sooner or later I’m going to have to give up at some point… Maybe I will go out with you.” I said hesitantly. “What?! Really?!” He asked excitedly running up to hug me. He then twirled me around kissing my cheek in excitement. Remus’s POV

“… Maybe I will go out with you.” Marlee told Wood. I couldn’t believe it. The one time I decided to go for it, she starts to go out with that… that prick. Before anyone could notice I was there I had ran off to my room that I shared with James, Sirius, and Peter. My heart was broken into a million little pieces. What was there for me now that I don’t have Marlee? What will I do?
Marlee’s POV

“Hey Mar, have you seen Remus?” James asked me while we were sitting in the Great Hall for supper. “Not since earlier… when Ash asked me out.” I said quietly. “Wood asked you out?!” James and Sirius yelled at the same time. “Yea…” I said as if the answer was obvious. “What did you tell him?” Lily asked. “At first I told him I’d have to think about it, but later on I told him yes.” I replied truthfully. “What?! Why’d you do that for?!” Chrystal asked in shock and anger. “Remus told me to. Think about it Chrys. I can’t keep waiting on Remus to have a change of heart. I can’t keep waiting for him to fall in love with me. I want to move on.” I said. Chrystal looked at me like I had two heads or something. “What?!” “It’s just… never mind. You will find out sooner or later.” Chrystal said shaking her head. Find out what?! I asked myself. Is Chrystal really telling me that Remus will have a change of heart? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Okay... So here's the next chapter non-edited... I will go back and edit it later but right now i really wanna start writing the next chapter. Kikiyugee thanks for the comment... I kind of decided to do something like that, but imma change it up a bit... but i do have something in mind for the next chapter. I would like to give a shout out to my little cousin she started reading my story and ever since i've been trying to update as much as possible. I really appreciate feedback... I'm still a pretty new writer so not all of my stuff is that good... Maybe soon i will post a story that i've been writing on my phone... when i do i will post a link and can you h=guys check it out?
