Marlee’s POV

May 3 rd (Marlee’s 7 th year) “Ready to go?” Sirius asked me from the couch in the common room. The boys and I decided to celebrate on our last Hogsmeade trip ever. That is if Lily and James will quit eating each other’s face off for ten seconds. Speak of the devils, James and Lily walked in the common room holding hands and talking all romantically. I think I’m gonna puke! “Where are Peter and Remus?” I asked quietly. After I explained everything to them in the great hall they were okay with me dating Ashton, although they said they would prefer that I date Remus, we all know that isn’t going to happen. Ever since I’ve been dating Ashton, and it’s been over half a year now. “They went ahead… said something about setting up.” Sirius mumbled. We then started walking to Hogsmeade. “I love you Jamie!!!” I slurred, holding a drink in one hand and hugging onto Sirius with the other. “Um… Mar… I’m Sirius” Sirius said awkwardly pleading for help. “But Jamie! I love you!” I cried. “Can someone get Marlee some water?!” Sirius cried. Peter ran off to get some water but it was too late. I had already moved onto bothering Remus who was just as drunk as I was. “Hey sexy wanna come back to my place?” I asked him seductively. Before he could answer I had pulled him out of the bar. Well you can only imagine what happened after that. The next morning I woke up on the small bed in the shrieking shack, but I wasn’t alone. Next to me was the last person I expected to seem, Remus. I hadn’t a clue how I had gotten there, all I remember was taking a drink of Fire Whiskey at HogsHead. “Oh my gosh! Remus! Wake up!” I shouted sitting up until I realized I was naked. Like completely naked. I screeched at the top of my lungs, and Remus woke up. “What’s goin- Marlee?!” He exclaimed. He looked down at me and noticed that I wasn’t wearing anything. His face instantly turned bright red like the Prewett twins hair. “What happened last night?” “What the hell do you think happened?! We both got very drunk!” I yelled out in frustration. “Oh my gosh. Ashton’s gonna hate me. He will break up with me. I’m gonna be a lonely old woman.” “Mar…” he said trying to get my attention. Once he got it he looked in my eyes and said, “SHUT UP!” “No Remus! Gosh! You ruin everything!” I yelled back. “I ruin everything?! Oh that’s rich coming from the one who broke my heart into a million pieces!” He screamed. “Wh-what do you mean?” I asked suddenly quieter. “I- I saw you agree to go out with Wood that day… Right after Chrys convinced me to ask you out.” He said in barely a whisper. “I love you Mar. I always have and I always will.” “What? I thought you- I thought you didn’t.” I said quietly. “I first realized I loved you when we kissed that day, but it was too dangerous. I didn’t want you to get hurt. I pushed you away because I thought that it was for the best for you.” He explained. I was now in tears. Most of this time I never knew that this is why. I mean I always thought he didn’t like me like that. “I- I’ve always loved you. I just tried to move on because I thought you didn’t like me.” I said in a whisper.
