Forgotten Dreams

Remus's POV

Two months later

     "Poppy! Poppy!" i yelled running into the hospital wing holding onto Marlee. She was screaming but wouldn't wake up when i shook her... and she's a very light sleeper.

     "Oh dear... lay her on the bed. I'll be back in a minute, and go get Professor Dumbledore." She said running into her office. I placed her on the bed as i was told and ran to get the headmaster. As soon as he saw me panicing he immediately knew something was wrong. Without a word he followed me into the hospital wing where Poppy was trying to calm Marlee down.

Marlee's POV

*dream*

     "Mummy... where is my daddy?" A little girl asked me.

     "Daddy's... he's in mummy's home town." I told her truthfully.

     "Why is he there and not with me and mummy?" She asked so innocently. She had no clue that her father didn't know she existed.

     "Because mummy didn't want daddy to have to move because of mummy's job." I lied this time.

     "Where is mummy from?" She asked me.

     "Mummy's from the UK honey. When i got a job offer here in America i decided to move us here." I said quietly.

     "Can we go visit where mummy grew up? Can we mummy?" She pleaded. I knew one day i would have to tell her about my past... her past, but now definitely wasn't the time.

     "Sure honey. We'll go for your tenth birthday." I told her. That would give me time. Time to tell her about our family.

     The scene suddenly changed to the image of the little girl running around the same house to get her stuff together.

     "Hurry up Anastasia! We're gonna miss our plane!" I yelled from the door.

     "I'm coming! One second!" She yelled. I was already packed and my things were in the trunk of the cab, but Anastasia was taking her sweet time. About two minutes later she finally made her way out and put her things in the trunk of the car with mine.

     "the airport please." I said to the driver. We pulled out of the driveway looking back at the house. Yea we were coming back in a few weeks but to me it would be an eternity.

*skipping the plane and both cab rides*

     "Uncle D?!" I yelled as i entered the house i basically grew up in. "Uncle D! I brought Ana! You said you wanted to me her!"

     I walked through the house looking for any sign of life with Anastasia a few steps behind me.

     "My dear Mariah you've grown up so much. And you must be Anastasia! I'm Damocles, but everyone has taken to calling me Uncle D... your mum and aunt could never pronounce my name correctly so they gave up." Uncle D laughed. "Ah how the times have gone. My dear nieces, who I have raised, have grown, and have their own children to raise now."

     "Oh dry the water works Uncle D! You won't be able to get Mar to move back in that easily. We all know she's too stubborn for that!" Chrystal yelled from the front door.

     "Chrys!" I yelled running over to hug my younger sister.

     "Ten and a half years Mar... and this is the first time you've visited the first time I've seen my niece's face. That hurts Mar." She said in the most serious voice ever.
