"Happy Birthday Ana! How old are you?" Shaun asked Anastasia.

"I'm nine!" She exclaimed proudly. She was so happy her eyes were pure gold as they sparkled in the California sunshine.

"That's right! And soon my beautiful little girl will be all grown up!" Shaun cried dramatically. Ana giggled and patted him on the back.

"That's right! Before you know it I'll be all grown up and I'll marry you!" She beamed.

"That's right!" Shaun then went off into a whole speech about how Ana isn't even allowed to look at another boy for as long as she lives. As more people showed up to the park for Ana's birthday party Ana ran off to play with her friends, leaving us adults to talk about random things. Soon after the sun set we set off some fireworks and went home. Anastasia ended up with so many gifts it took Shaun, Cher's, and my car to take it all home. The whole day was fun yet exhausting. Ana was so tired she ended up falling asleep in the car.

"So when are you going to tell her?" Cher asked sitting down on the couch while Shaun brought in all of Ana's presents.

"Tell her what?" I feigned ignorance.

" I don't know. Tell her that her mom is a witch slash metamorphagus and dad is a werewolf? That her eyes change colors according to her mood, hears and sees better than all of the other kids at school because its in her blood." Cher said in the motherly tone.

"I was going to tell her before we visit London, but I don't think she's ready for that bit of new yet. How am I supposed to tell my daughter that I ran away from Everyone becasue I got pregnant with a werewolf? Don't you know they are looked down upon in society? What if word gets out around there that her father is a werewolf it would make everything harder for her." My head was full of the bad possibilities making me forget all about the good things. "Cher he didn't even want a kid, he doesn't know she even exists. We were a mistake. All of those years he rejected me and then that one night... I don't know Cher. I just don't know."

"Do you still love him?" She asked.

"I've never stopped. I'll never stop. Not after five years, not ten years, not ever." I said smiling a bit.

"One day you will see him again, and they will both have to know." She scolded me.

"I know. I'll tell her soon." I sighed.
