Five and a half years later

"Mommy!" My five year old daughter Anastasia cried.

"What is it sweetie?" I asked like any other concerned mother would.

"K-Kellin told me that I was a freak because I don't have a daddy." A pang of guilt shot through my chest as she said this. It's all my fault. I thought. I knew if I told Remus, he probably would have done everything in his power to be the father our little girl deserved. I realized long ago that I was being scared and selfish, but I also believed that by the time I realized this, it was too late.

"Oh honey, you do have a daddy." I told her. Her Brown eyes were filled with so much joy just with that one sentence.

"I do?" She asked. Her voice was filled with so much joy and hope that I thought she would bust.

"Yes Ana. Come sit down." I said I led her to the red sectional in my living room. "A long time ago mummy lost her mummy and daddy, and she was so sad. Mummy wouldn't talk to anyone. Not your Aunt Chrystal, or your Uncle James, or mummy's Uncle Damocles. One day Uncle Damocles brought over a boy who was really sad, almost as sad as mummy was. Since then mummy and that boy were best friends, and mummy loved that boy very much. That boy was your daddy."

"Mummy... Where is daddy?" She asked once I finished telling her about my past.

        "Daddy's... He's in mummy's hometown." I told her truthfully.

"Why is he there and not with me and mummy?" She asked so innocently. She had no clue that her father didn't know she existed, and I planned to keep it that way, at least until i was truly ready to tell her everything.

"Because mummy didn't want daddy to have to have to move because of mummy's job." I lied. What was I supposed to tell her? Mummy was a coward and ran away before daddy even Knew she existed?

"Where is mummy from?" She asked me.

"Mummy's from the UK honey. When I got a job offer here in America I decided to move us here." I said quietly.

"Can we go visit where mummy grew up? Can we mummy?" Se pleaded. I knew one day I would have to tell her about my past... her past, but now was definitely not the time.

"Sure honey. We'll go for your tenth birthday" I told her. That would give me time. Time to tell her about our family. I felt a sudden wave of Deja-Vu hit me until I heard the door creak open.

"Knock knock!" Shaun said peeking his head through the front door.

"Uncle Shaun!" Anastasia yelled, running up to her favorite uncle. I kept my word to Lily telling Anastasia how much her and James loved her, and how one day she would meet my my red headed best friend.

"Ana!" Shaun yelled back just as excitedly. That was the reason Ana loved him so much. He was a five year old at heart. "Marlee!"

"Hey Shaun." I giggled to my friend. I thought about what Ana had said as the day went by. One day I would have to tell her about what happened with her father. I wanted her to attend Hogwarts, and in order for her to do that, I would have to take her back. I would have to face my friends and family. I would have to face Remus.
