38. Insanity

Ronald's P.O.V

I called the emergency services whilst I was running after Grell.
I just watched my best friend stab someone, and then stab himself! I threw my coat on the floor before jumping in the lake. He can't die. I won't let him. As soon as I touched the water I felt my body going into shock.

'This is suicide!' My mind screamed. But I didn't care. If he died, it would be my fault. I couldn't stop him, just like I couldn't stop Angela.
I killed Grace.
I killed William.
And I might have just killed Grell.

William's P.O.V

I woke up screaming. My heart ached and my mind never was fuzzy. I had dreamt about my past life...
I couldn't remember much, mainly a man wearing red and a small child. She was familiar, although I couldn't recall their faces, just thinking about them made me happy.
I looked at my alarm clock and rolled out of bed before getting ready for training, I had a bad feeling about today.

Ronald's P.O.V

I could hear the faint sound of sirens, and tried to open my eyes. Did I save Grell? Is he ok?
I looked around the room and immediately realised where I was. I looked at the nurse stood at the bottom of the bed, he was reading something.

"What- What happened?" I questioned with a shiver. Why am I so cold?
He looked at me is surprise.

"Mr Knox! You should be resting!" He laid me back down.
"You were found unconscious, and on the verge of dying in a lake. There was another man there as well." He looked to the floor.

"Is he ok? Please tell me Grell is ok?!" I pleaded and the nurse looked at me with sorrow in his eyes.
"Tell me my best friend is ok. I can't loose him too!" The nurse lowered his head again.

"I'm sorry. The Doctor will be here soon to check up on you. Your friend didn't make it." Tears rolled down my cheeks as the nurse walked out.
I let Angela take Grace, it's my fault she's dead.
I told William Grell was dead, it's my fault he killed himself.
I couldn't stop Grell, it's my fault he's dead.

Wow. That was depressing to write.
