Info: Keith is in a nightmare where Lance doesn't return his feelings. Keith wakes up crying and hurt so he goes looking towards Lances room and starts yelling at him for it. Even though Lance has no clue what he did wrong or what is going on?

Keith Pov
I look to my side and woke up back at the shack on earth. I got up quickly and looked around to see everything look the same but just collected with dust. I check around and see the red lion outside in the daylight and wonder why she's out here?

Wouldn't she stay with the castle? As I walk back in I see Lance sitting on the couch looking at a couple files before he looked up at me. I smiled at him and sat beside him "Hey" I say as he looks at me a bit odd "Hey Keith" "What's wrong? You look troubled?" He nods and sighs before he looks at me

"Why are we here and away from the others? Why did you choose me?" I was confused "What? What are talking about Lance?" I placed my hand on his shoulder as he looked at me again "You told me, you choose me because you loved me. That's weird because you hate my guts and I always annoy you no matter what I do" I sigh

"I love you Lance, that's why I brought you here with me, we shared a deep connection that I've never had before..we clicked" I held his face as I kissed him softly but he pushed me away "What the heck Keith?! Why are you kissing me?!"

"What are talking about?! We're together Lance! You said when we defeat the enemies we could start something? Don't you want that?" He looked upset and bit distant "Keith I just can't feel the same way you do. I can't love you and be with you I'm sorry.." he stood up and walked towards the door and was gone.

I woke up coughing and crying on my room as I tried to relax but I couldn't and I needed to get this off my chest. I threw my blanket off and marched towards Lances room. I banged on the door a couple times before the door slides open and there stood a sleepy Lance.

That bastard! I grabbed his arms and pushed him inside and against his wall glaring at him "Whoa! Keith what's going on?! Why are you here?!" He was now fully aware "Why can't you!" I said pretty loudly that he was really confused and detached

"Why can't I what?!" "Lance why can't you?!" "Why can't I what Keith?" I was shaking as I held him on the wall. I broke down a bit as he broke from my grasp and rubbed his arms "What's the matter with you?" He said sounding a bit concerned "Keith? You can tell me dude I'm all ears"

he said smiling but how can I tell him even though I never let my feelings known for him. I sat on his bed and he walked towards me and sat beside me "You can tell me when you-" "I'm in love with you Lance"

I said quickly and rushed and he looks at me odd just like I'm my dream and I could feel my heart break a bit "Come again?" "I'm in love with you Lance..I've been for awhile now but I never told you cause we worked so well together and we passed the rival thing and became good friends but I guess I took it a bit too far.."

I managed to say as my face heated up "You love me?" I nodded as I wiped my eyes and looked down at our legs "Is that why you came in here pinning me to wall?" "Yeah, I had a dream you didn't love me back and you couldn't and left me alone"

I looked at Lance as his expression looks a bit shocked that his dream self would do such a thing. Lance is super friendly and very charismatic when talking or meeting someone new. I just dreamt a darker version of him

"I'm sorry Keith that my dream self did that, if I was there I would definitely return your feelings back. If we're being honest here I actually kinda got some feelings for you but I never got around it cause you were busy or didn't have time" I lowered my head

"I'm sorry Lance that I'm busy it's just I've been preparing myself in case Shiro is gone and I'll have to take over. But I'm always free at night cause I don't sleep right" he chuckles and sighs "I understand, are you okay now?" "Yeah I feel a bit better, thanks Lance"

We both stood up and Lance had his arms open waiting for something "What?" "I know you want a hug, so come here" I smirked and took his embrace, we chuckled a bit but I held a bit longer and I guess he seemed to notice because I buried my head on his shoulder and held tight

"Hey, I would never do that to you. You know the real me and I would never disrespect your feelings like that" I sigh in relief as we moved away and I looked at him as he had a smile and I smirked with a slight blush "Well, I should go" I said as I moved towards the door as he walked behind to open

"Yeah" I stood there looking at him for bit but what was I hoping for? A kiss or an invitation to stay the night? Lance said he likes me as well but I can't be hopeful that he would want me near him all the time. "Keith? You okay buddy?" I sigh and shook my head

"Not really..in my dream I kissed you but she shoved me away and called me weird for doing it. I guess i was hoping you would..uh" Lance was now a few centimeters away from my face and my breath hitched a bit before he kissed me and holy crap it felt so good.

I melted into his kiss as he held the back of my head. This kiss was so much better than my dream, because it was real and tasted sweet and not bitter. As Lance pulled away taking my bottom lip a smile was on his face "How was that?" I was dazed and wanted more but that would be pushing my luck "Perfect.."

he chuckles and caresses my cheek as I melted at his touch "Want to stay the night?" "Yes" I said way to eager and quickly "You seemed to be expecting this?" "Yeah..I kinda was sorry if I'm making it awkward" "Its fine, come on you need sleep Keith" he pulled me into his bed and he held me from behind and kissed my neck and nuzzled into my hair

"Your hair smells awfully close to my shampoo" I smirked "I might've used it" "Really?" "Yeah sorry" "Its fine, it just makes you more irresistible for me" I blushed as he chuckles behind me "Hey Lance" he hums as he waits

"Promise me, when we go home we'll start something serious" he nods "I promise you Keith" I turned around and faced him and kissed him gently as he pulled me closer. The rest of the night I didn't wake up in tears but I woke up in warm and loving arms. I could get used to this.
