Info: Lance and Keith are agents in training for Voltron a government facility but as always Keith gets in first..what happens when lance demands justice? Also small fluff not really lol

Lance pov
I worked my butt off during training but they placed me in the office! What kind of person would put me, Lance McClain in a stupid Office?! I should be out in the field with the rest! I still couldn't believe Keith beat me again! I still don't even know how he passed the written part?

I saw him struggling and I passed with flying colors. As i sulk in my chair I see Mr perfect chatting it up with the boss "Thanks Shiro for putting out in the field" I glared at him before I walked towards them "Congrats Kogane, outstanding! Way to go pal! My buddy!" I kept clapping until the whole office was looking at us

"Lance? What's going on?" Shiro asked as he looked at me while Keith glared at me "I don't understand why he! Yes you with the mullet got to be out being a freaking agent! Shiro I worked my butt off but I'm here in this dumb office filing papers or files!"

I was so angry I couldn't even think straight "I picked Keith because he has better skills you couldn't do" I scoff "But I passed my written test that he struggled with!" Keith stepped in and smirked "I passed you idiot, I know I struggled but I passed"

I shoved him and he shoved back "Guys! Enough before I put you guys in suspensions!" I rolled my eyes "I deserve to be out there not in here!" Keith shakes his head "In your dreams, excuse me Shiro" he left towards the training room and everyone went back to whatever they were doing

"Lance in my office, now" I sigh and followed as I get in office his second in command stood behind him "Lance, I didn't place you put in the feild because you lack of stealth and endurance..in a practice run, Keith beat you by a land slide. If I put you put there I'm risking your life and I don't want that" I sigh

"I can practice, I'll do better! Please give me a chance? Wait did Keith have any trouble with anything?" Shiro sighs before his second in command spoke "Don't lie to the poor kid" I smiled at her as she smirked "Keith barely passed the bomb test..you on the other hand knew what to do instead of just going through it.."

"But yet you chose the mullet over a dashing and handsome guy like me?" He just stared at me with a dull expression "Lance your so full of it..but I'll give you another shot, if you work on your endurance and stealth then I'll put you out there with Keith, you can work together and get better" I sigh and groan at the thought working with Keith

"What? I don't want to work with Keith! He's just a push over" Shiro shook his head "Well would you rather be in a office or be out there?" I sigh "Fine" he smiled "Great now go practice with Keith he's probably in the training room, start getting to work together? For my sake?"

I sigh and stood up "Yes sir" I walked out and went towards the training room where I see Keith throwing punches and kicks on the fake dummy "Kogane" I say as he stopped and looked at me "McClain? What do you want?" I walked towards him and smiled "Shiro said he'll give me another chance to be able to be out in the feild like you"

he let out a breathy chuckle "Your kidding me right?" I shook my head "Afraid not, so we gotta work together so that can happen so ready to practice?" He grinned and pulled me from under my feet and I land with a hard thud to the mats

"Ah.." "If you want to get better you watch what I do got it?" I nodded before I did a counter attack and I was on top of him "Loud and clear mullet" I laughed as he grinned "Let's get started"

After a couple weeks of intense training I was ready to take my test again, well the ones I didn't do so well "Hey lance got a second?" Keith asked before I entered the exam room "Yeah sure what's up?" "I hope you do well" he said flatly "Wow thanks for the words of encouragement keith" he sighs

"I'm sorry I'm not very good with encouragement.." I smirked "Your blushing Keith, going soft on me?" He groans "No! Just don't mess up!" I smiled "I'll do fine Keith and plus I'm still waiting on your answer for that date" he looked away with his arms crossed "Just cause we kissed once doesn't mean we're dating" he whispered

"Aw Keith you want us to be a thing?" I moved closer moving his hair away from his eyes "Shut up.." I chuckled and kissed him quick which caused him to punch me "Ouch Keith" his face was red and walked away "It was for luck!" I said before he left and Shiro came into view "What happened to Keith?" "Nothing he's fine, I'm ready Shiro" he nods "Alright let's get started"

I maintained focused the whole time and actually passed which I'm super happy about. Shiro was impressed that I progressed in such a short time "Great job Lance, you did well" I thanked Shiro and went to find Keith when I found him in the training room hitting the punching bag "Figures you'll be here"

he ignored me and I grabbed the bag and looked at me breathing heavily "What do you want Lance?" "I passed, so I wanted to thank you and if you wanted to come and celebrate with me the-" I was interrupted by Keith shutting me up with a kiss "Your welcome" I blushed as I looked at him "You confuse me"

"Good" I chuckled as he grabbed his things "Are you coming or not?" Keith asked near the door "So..what goes on from here?" Keith smirked as he pushed me against the wall and grinned "You'll figure it out" I was utterly turned on by Keith but he just teases me as we left the building

"Seeing as we're gonna be partners on the field..could we possibly be something more?" I tried holding his hand but he moved away quickly "Maybe? But not now..." he held that grin of his as I laughed "Playing hard to get?!" He nods as he entered his car and I quickly entered as well "Keith Kogane you are one mysterious man" he chuckles before he pulls me in for a another sloppy kiss "I know and I tend to stay that way"
