I walk out my room and head to the dinning room to eat dinner as I walk I notice Lance laughing and kissing Keith "Gross! Get a room!" They look back and smiled "Hey pidge, how's being 18?" "It could be better" "Keith to on I'll be there in a few"

Keith nods and walks off and Lance looks at me "Why say that?" "Cause nothing really had change except you dating Keith and hunk finally confessing to Shay" lance smirks "Maybe you need a love interest? It could lift your mood?" I raised a brow and groan

"What? No I don't want a relationship and besides there's no one I want to be with" "Oh come on Pidge, that alien dude we saved a couple days back seemed interested, also as a big brother you grew up to be a beautiful young lady." I blushed as I moved my hair away from my face

"You think I'm beautiful?" "Yeah? Who wouldn't think your beautiful" I smiled and hugged him "Thanks Lance" "Maybe you should talk to the alien dude what's his name?" "Zion" he chuckles "See you already have a name Pidge, now come time for breakfast"

After training and upgrading parts to my lion I decided to do what lance said and call up Zion. It was a little nerve racking but I'm old enough to do adult things. I decided to go to his planet and visit him for a bit since I asked Allura. As I arrived I'm greeted with other alien species and I smile

"Welcome back Green Paladin" "Hello your majesty" she smiles and looks at me "Why are you here is something wrong?" "Oh, no I'm just here to see a friend i made a couple days ago" she giggles "Of course, they must be lucky to have a pretty paladin like yourself be their friend" I nodded and looked around until I saw him sitting on the grass well what liked like grass look at the water.

"Zion?" He looked up and stood up quickly embracing me into a tight hug and I blushed "Green paladin! It's so great to see you again" he let go and I smirked "Yeah, how are you?" "I'm great, how have you been?" "Uh good I just had a birthday and things seem to go smoothly" he chuckles

"I wasn't aware but I wish you a great late birthday" "Oh it's alright not everyone knows" he nods as it got a little awkward "Why are you here?" "Oh! Right uh well my friend told me i should make a special friend" he tilted his head "A special friend? What is that?"

"Uh, it's like a friend but you like them a lot and you want to be with them" he looked confused but looked to be thinking it over "Like a mate?" My face heated up "What?! No uh maybe or something like that?" He chuckles and looks down at me, I only grew a few inches and I'm still freaking short!

"So you came here so I can be your special friend?" I blushed and nodded "Yeah? But it's cool if you don't like me like that!" I managed to say as shook my head "I like you" he said and I froze "You do?" "Yes, you saved my life and got to know you a bit" I smiled softly

"Well thanks for telling me" he held my hand and we walked around the large body of water. I didn't expect it to go like this and for once lance was right, I just hope he didn't hear that.

After spending half the day with him we sat under a tree and looked out around us "Thanks for spending time with me green paladin" I giggled "My name is Katie" he smiles and chuckled "What a pretty name for a pretty girl" I blushed "Thanks"
