The plane journey was around five hours or so. Cuddled up to Carlisle, he wouldn’t let me go. The flight assistant deserved a punch.
She kept trying to get Carlisle’s attention and blushed all the bloody time. She even dropped a pack of nuts onto his lap and tried to touch him. “If she doesn’t leave you alone, I swear to god people will scream at the sight of her head being ripped off.” Carlisle laughed, as did Peter who sat in the chairs in front of us.
“A girl fight? I wouldn’t mind seeing that!” Peter said and whistled. He’s disgusting. “Don’t worry Darling, I will handle it.” I smiled at Carlisle. He lifted the arm rest that kept up apart and pulled me closer to him.
“Can I get you anything?” She is back again. Her name is ‘Jennifer’ by her name tag. She gave me the dirtiest look, and Carlisle placed his hand on my leg to hold me down. “No thank you. Actually do you have any travel guides for Transylvania? We are on our honeymoon.” Carlisle smiled at her, as did I.
She was in shock. “Y-you guys are married?” “Yes. Newly weds. Isn’t she beautiful.” Carlisle replied and looked at me, a smile on his face. He leaned in and kissed me. “Hmm, yeah sure…” She walked away, thankfully. “Her face though.” I laughed, Carlisle’s eyes were alight with amusement. “She was annoying me too. I have a beautiful wife, who I love with all my heart so she needs to leave.” I laughed.
“I love you so much.” “I love you too Baby.” Carlisle went to give me the kiss that I craved but that can’t happen. “You guys are annoying me.” Peter spoke from in front of us.
Sighing, I kicked the back of his chair. Peter jolted forward, he knelt on the chair and looked at us. “Did you just kick me?” His face was full of shock and amusement. “I stretched my legs. If we got first class that wouldn’t off happened.” His eyes narrowed. “Whatever you say Brat.” I mimicked him as he sat down.
Carlisle laughed. You aren’t afraid of him are you? He spoke in my mind. Nope. Not even the slightest. Carlisle laughed again.
The rest of the plane journey passed, finally we were told to put chairs and tables in the upright position and put on our seatbelts. It was nearing the morning now. Romania was two hours faster, making it four in the morning.
The descend from the sky was the same as take-off, it went well. The wheels touched the tarmac and we were lifted again before finally going slow enough to fully land. “This is still weird.” I laughed at Carlisle. “It is an incredible invention thought.” He looked around the plane in wonder.
We grabbed our bags from the overhead compartment, so we don’t have to wait for the luggage belt. Saying bye to the cabin crew we stepped onto the tunnel and passed through the check points showing our passports.
Another black SUV with blacked out windows was parked outside. I wonder how many they have. Climbing in the back again, Peter was driving again. The drive to the castle took two and a half hours. It was a tourist destination. I’m guessing that’s how they lure in the people to feed.
Corvin castle stood on its own, a bridge to attach it to the main world. It definitely had the gothic element with its dark stones and pointed edges. The doors at the front of the castle were wide open and there was even a car park.
“This castle has been here for century’s. We have to have it as a museum, well part of it. We don’t get a choice. It is easy picking though.” I felt sick by the end of Peter’s little talk. He really doesn’t care about anyone apart from his self. Now I am starting to see it slowly.
