Yeah.
My sisters and their friends spent a gigawatts of energy agonizing over all the prom politics. Seems like pulling the trigger and asking a girl early will be a mercy killing.
Ceci
That's cute that they're so into prom.
Jack
Were you?
Ceci
No... I never even went to prom.
Not a lot of school pride or enthusiasm.
Jack
Oh, man!

It took two girls, one pulling on each arm to drag me onto a dance floor.
And as I was trundled toward the music by an all-girl kidnap team for a force-fed baptism in funk, and a brutal deflowering, every second was bliss. Thank God almighty for girls!!
