Chapter 10

Desi's POV

"I did not even hear you come in last night." I ask Nick who appeared next to me in bed.

"I missed you. I didn't want to sleep without you." He mumbles. "What happened?" I ask knowing him too well.

"I saw Collin and everything just annoyed me. Needed to get away." He tells me as I look at him with his eyes shut as he carried on sleeping. I put my head on his bare back and sigh.

"So I'm a heavy sleeper suddenly." I say and he chuckles. He sits up pulling me in kissing me. "I got something planned today."

"Besides the surprise baby shower I got an invite to?" I ask him and he laughs. "Yeah besides that."

"Thats cute." I tell him as he kisses me again pushing me back. "We'll have some fun." He says kissing down to my neck arousing me. Having sex with a huge baby bump wasnt easy and I think Nick was less attracted to me. It worried me sometimes. I was like swollen and walking funny.

"Nick the door." I tell him as I felt the hickeys in my neck. Someone was knocking very loudly.

"Who cares?" He mumbles taking my top off. "My phone is ringing too." I chuckle. "I'll get the door." He says getting up. "You gonna open the door like that?" I laugh seeing him pull sweats on. He looks down sees how it was so obvious. "Who the fuck is ruining shit for me?" He sighs as he sticks both hands in his pocket to hide what was happening in his pants. I laugh getting out of bed putting on clothes going to see who it was.

"Mom?" I say seeing her standing in the hallway. Nick looked a bit confused wondering what was happening. "Surprise sweety!" She shouts.

"Im gonna take a shower." Nick says walking past me into the room again. "You look so big. Look at that belly."

"What are you doing here?"

"I know I was supposed to come after you gave birth to help out but honestly I wanted to come sooner."

"Did you get invited to the baby shower?" I ask her and she chuckles. "That too. How you know about that?"

"A girl called Tamara invited me." She says. I look at the floor and see baby Daisy in her carseat. "Hey baby." I say getting her out hugging her and my mom.

"Its a nice surprise." I tell her as she walks into the kitchen. "I'm so glad to be by your side during labour and the new born."

"Thats sweet." I tell her. "How was your flight?"

"She was a little bit fussy but not bad. I'm tired." She says. "Nick and I are moving into the new house next week." I tell her.

"So you guys will be officially living together." She says and I nod. "Yep."

"I'm heading out." Nick says walking into the kitchen as I made mom some tea.

"You going? Thought we could go out for breakfast." Mom says

"Yeah, got a few things I gotta do." He says and I walk him out. "Alright see you later." She says and Nick nods at her.

"Thought we were doing something?" I ask him. "Well not with your mom in the kitchen." He says and I chuckle slapping his arm.

"I wanted to go out for lunch. Me and you. Before your big surprise." He says. "Well I can't ditch my mom."

"I'm not asking you to. I'll pick you up at 3." He says. "Be ready."
