Chapter 27

Desi's POV

"They here yet?" My mom asks as I sit up on the couch. "They are but they're going to a hotel tonight. Its pretty late. Nicks coming to see Zain though."

"Why are they going to a hotel? This house is huge. We got 7 bedrooms and only 2 in use!" My mom frowns.

"Let me speak to Jasmine." She says taking my phone.

"Hey hun," she says. "Why are you guys going to a hotel? You only have 3 days with Zain and us? Youre family and all of you need to stay with us. No, you can tell Nick it's not weird. He can see Zain every minute then. I'm not having it. You guys, we got the rooms ready and all for you." She says and Ichuckle. She was a liar.

"So what?" I ask as she hung up.

"Theyre coming here." She says. "That is Zain's family- our family."

"Oeh, very Latina." I say and she laughs.

Zain was literally falling asleep on the couch as it was now 9pm.

After 45 minutes the doorbell rings and Zain wakes up and sits up. He looks around and crawls over to my lap. "Honey. Look whose here." I say and he opens his left eye as the Adams stream in followed by my mom. Nick was the first one as he stood there. He looked as good as always. Had a beanie over his head. A black nike hoodie and a matching pants. My heart skipped a few beats. I missed him sooo much.

"Daddy." Zain says suddenly wide awake. He jumps off my lap slides down the couch and runs over to his fathers open arms. Nick picks him up hugging and kissing him all over. "Hi buddy." He says as Zain continues babbling. I get up and hug the other Adams as they all rub my big belly.

They kind of all get occupied with Zain as I feel Nick's arms around me. I missed his scent. His touch and feel. The way he moved. I hold on to him as he picks me up a little putting me down.

Zain's sudden cries make us let go as everyone just stared at us.

"I'll go put him to bed." Nick says and I nod.

"Let me show you." I say. "You guys can choose your rooms." I say as they all follow me and get settled in.

Nick puts Zain to sleep in his nursery next to my room. "I missed him so much- didn't know a little human being could bring me so much happiness." Nick says as I walk down the stairs. It was a little awkward. He hasn't even greeted me properly.

"He missed you too." I say and he chuckles. His mood was great- I could tell.

"So ofcourse you like Seattle. This house is huge and beautiful." Alex says coming out his bedroom. He was sharing a room with Sam.

"I know- Its home." I chuckle.

"Bro I can't wait-"

"Im so happy Ayla can be with her cousin on her birthday too." Sophia says as she walks out of her room. "Is she asleep too?"

"Yeah she was so tired."

"Lets go eat. Your moms food smelled so nice." Sophia says dragging Alex along. I chuckle and stare at them as they disappear.

"I missed your siblings." I chuckle.

"You can have them." He says. "So you didn't miss me?" He asks and I look at him. His stupid grin showed me he was joking and maybe even flirting. "Especially not you Adams." I tell him and he chuckles.

"Lets go eat." I tell him as we walk downstairs. Pretty much everyone was tired and went to sleep except Mason and Nick.

"We want to party in Seattle." Mason says.
