Sorry for delay, I hadn't been feeling well. I've spent the time trying to figure a good way to work out multiple mates so it made sense. Then one day, it all clicks! Isn't it amazing when a story comes together, and then you get sidetracked into the stories of some of the other characters. 😂

Now I just have to get it down for all you lovely wolves to read😜🐺🐺🐺

"Where are you going?" Jaden asked.

Samantha only growled.

"Wait up!"

Jaden didn't know why his lovely mate was so upset. All day she had been throwing him looks, and becoming more and more cross as the day went on. He had hoped a pleasant dinner would help, he had set out the candles and flowers himself. Music! He forgot music!

He growled at himself, beating himself up for not being able to give his mate what she wanted, whatever that was!

Soon she was full wolf. He mind-linked his Beta to grab an SUV and catch up to them. He leaped in on the fly, his Beta barely slowing down. His beautiful mate was fast! She ran for hours! She didn't slow down until she came to a border of a pack he wasn't familiar with.

The shiny black SUV came to a stop next to his yowling mate. She was huffing and gesturing. Within moments there were speeding vehicles as well as wolves running on the ground. It looked like the whole pack had come to defend their border from his mate!

He went up next to her and she threw him another indecipherable look.

Sweetheart, please tell me what I did wrong! Please?

You have done nothing about my beta mate so I have come hunting for one myself!

I'm sorry, he whispered through their private mind link, I just have a hard time coming to terms with sharing you with someone else. I don't know how to do it! I don't know how to to find a beta mate for you! Werewolves don't have them. I can't bear you being mad at me!

She forgave him then. She could feel the sincerity and confusion in him.

Well, I found one here. I will let you talk to this territory's Alpha and get him to release the werewolf I want for my beta mate.

She screams and hollers and sets the whole territory in front of us on alert, then expects me to bargain with an irate Alpha, thought Jared... but then Jared felt her love for him, and her confidence in his abilities. For her, he would do anything, even this, as hard as it was.

Jared walked to the border, his toes right to the line he could feel. He pushed his own Alpha authority so they would know it was no rogue knocking at their door. The Alpha for that territory came growling over to him, nose to nose. Jared stepped back with a smile and reduced his push of power.

"My apologies for disrupting your pack. My mate," Jared paused as he held out his hand to his lovely mate. She came over and shifted to take hold of it. He loved the tingles he got when holding her furred hand!

The other Alpha looked very surprised!

"My Lycan mate," Jared continued, "has come hunting her beta mate. I can't explain how that works because I don't understand it myself. Would you please grant us permission to enter your territory? She isn't attacking, she was just trying to get someone's attention," Jared finished sheepishly.

The other Alpha almost choked! "Get someone's attention? I thought there was a whole rogue army out here!

Uh oh. His mate did not like being referred to as a rogue!

He meant an attacking army, you are as fierce as a whole army. He brought his whole pack here to protect his people from the noise you made!

Jared grinned at her as her snout wrinkled up in a laugh. As if sound were dangerous!

I would never hurt his people, not unless he was trying to hurt mine!

Tell him that sweetie!

"I won't attack anyone. There is a good candidate for my beta mate in your territory."

Jaden beamed adoringly at his sweetie. She gave him a slight shove against his shoulder that sent him off-balance. He stumbled slightly but she still had his hand and pulled him back to her until he was crushed against her chest.

"I don't think we have time for this right now," Jayden told her teasingly, "unless you want to make all of these fine people wait."

She just stared at him for a second, enjoying the look of him, before the real meaning of what he said sunk in. She gave a low growl of embarrassment.

Jayden laughed and turned his attention back to the waiting Alpha.

"Do we have your permission to enter?"
