"Hold on" Aisha laughed at me. "explain to me again how this happened?"

"Aisha this shit isn't funny" we was sitting at our usual lunch spot talking about the events that took place last night.

"I just think its funny how everything I went through with you, your going through it with Kanae."

"I didn't try to rape you Aisha!" I growled a little over a whisper.

"I know, I know" she laughed. "but she was drunk, I'm pretty sure Kanae doesn't want anything to do with your ass while she is sober, being that yall hate each other and all"

"I wouldn't say I hate her...... its just a strong dislike" I took a sip of my protein shake, it taste like straight peanut butter and banana.

"does she even remember what happened?"

"not one little bit" I sighed.

"and let me guess, your not going to mention it" I shook my head. honestly I just want to forget about it and move on with my life. I only told Aisha what happened because she is somewhat of my bestfriend, and I tell her everything.

"okay, well my drama is never as juicy as yours but tell me why Jessica asked me for a break last night"

"you lying, the ball kicker wants some space?" I chuckled.

"what I told you about calling her that" Aisha rolled her eyes at me. "I guess she does, she sounded pretty serious but I thought we was doing good... you don't think there is another girl involved do you"

"Nah  A, you just over thinking it now. its not like you caught her cheating and yall broke up, she just asked for a break, maybe she needs some alone time"

"yeah, alone time to fuck with some other bitch." Aisha got herself worked up,  why when a nigga ask for a break you girls act like its the end of the world?

"Look give her a couple of days, and then sit down with her and ask her what's going on. Don't start assuming shit, that's when everything goes left"

"yeah, I guess your right" Aisha was staring at her chicken creaser salad and playing around with the mini tomatoes.

"Aisha everything is gonna be o-" i was cut off by my ringing phone.  The Caller ID read Alex.

"gimmi a minute" I said to Aisha before answering the call.

"Wassup Bro" i spoke into the phone.

"WASSUP LEXI!!"

I laughed. "why you so hyped?"

"because its bout to be a real nigga birthday!!!!"

"Jackass you birthday isn't for 4 more months. "

"not mines stupid. but yours is next week"

"You bugging" I laughed.

"Alexis its August 7th. where the fuck your head been"

I honestly haven't been paying attention to the date, with every thing that has been going on with Johni, and the new season I don't have time to pay attention to the date, much less at the fact that my birthday is in a couple of days.

"Dead ass Lex, I just haven't been in the right head space, with the funeral and everything i have just been out of it."

"ah man, how was it. how is your friend doing?"

"it was a nice little ceremony, it was weird being in church again, Johni is drinking her life away but. you know how that go"

"yeah man, she just lost her mom, I don't know if I would be doing anything different."  the line went silent. Alex still lived at home with mom and dad, he is much closer to them than I am.
