"Are you taking your basketball?" Aisha asked as she helped me pack.

"I'm going home to Visit, not to move back in A."

"I know that. I'm just happy you are going home. your family must miss you!"

I rolled my eyes at her.

I wasn't half as happy as Aisha is  for me to go home. I have been dreading this moment since I got off the phone with Alex.

"I'm only bringing a weekends worth of clothes and 2 pairs of shoes. I am not spending more than 3 days down there and if I'm not back by Sunday call the police because I killed myself on the first day. okay" I zipped up my duffle bag.

Aisha got up off of my bed and stood infront of me. she hugged me.

"you promise to text me every chance you get"

"I am not moving away Aisha" I groaned.

"STILL! I wont be with you on your birthday, the least you can do is keep me in the loop so I feel like I am there." she frowned at me.

I chuckled. "Fine. I will text you the whole time, I might even throw in a couple of facetimes, just for you" I winked at her.

"YAY!" Aisha laughed at me.

I grabbed my duffle bag, keys, and wallet before we walked out of my room. Kanae was sitting on the couch watching tv.

"You leaving now?" she asked.

"Yeah. look I don't want to come back to my dorm looking like a garbage heap and NO FUCKING IN MY BED!"

Kanae got up off the couch smirking. "trash the place AND I can use your room to fulfil all my sexual fantasies. you  are so nice Alexis" she teased.

"don't test me" I growled

"Have fun bud" She laughed patting my shoulder and walking into her room.

"Promise me that you will come here every 3 hours to check on my dorm. I don't trust her"

Aisha laughed. "I thought yall was getting along"

"We are cordial"

Aisha walked me to my car, before I left I made her promise to check on my dorm and to send me videos of any new plays they learn this weekend.

The whole 2 and a half hour drive I tried to convince myself that running my car into the other side of the  highway would be less painful than spending a weekend with my mother. 

but nah my weak ass couldn't do it. Instead I made it to orange county safe and sound.

"LEXIIIWEXXXXXXIIIIIII" Alex ran out the house yelling.

I chuckled to myself as I got out the car.

I cant lie I was happy to see my brother. Its always good to see him.

"Wassup Goodman " I engaged him with a hug.

"I thought for a second that you was gonna stand me up"

"I thought about it. I thought about it all the way here"

"You little bitch" He chuckled.
"This everything you brought?" he asked taking my duffle bag from me.

"Yeah. um who all in there?" I asked staring blankly at the 2 story town house I grew up in.

"Ma, Pops, Bones just got dropped off"
