I sat on the king sized bed in the hotel room Kanae and I shared.

We were in Newnan, Georgia for the weekend, playing against The Eagles tonight, The bull dogs on Saturday, and the Tigers on Sunday. We don't play until 6:30 this evening and it is 4:00 now.

Kanae had walked into the bathroom to answer a phone call and I was trying to convince Johni that coming to my games aren't mandatory through imessage.

Me: Just because we are together doesn't mean I expect you to come babe.

Headaches🤦🏽‍♀️🥰: But it would be wrong if I didn't show up to your game tonight, you are only 45 minutes away!😭

Me: Yeah, but if you had plans I don't want to be the reason why you cancel them.

Headaches🤦🏽‍♀️🥰: Baby, I'm coming tonight ok? Fuck everything else. 💯🤷🏽‍♀️

Me: You sure ?

Headaches🤦🏽‍♀️🥰 : Positive, and you can stay the night with me, instead of being cooped up in the hotel.

Me: You know coach not gon like that!

Headaches🤦🏽‍♀️🥰: What she don't know wont kill her 😉

"No I am not coming today! Papa I swear to G--Ugh YOU?! DON'T YOU THINK I'M STRESSED?DON'T YOU THINK THIS WEIGHS ME DOWN!?" I could hear Nae from the bathroom.

She had to be talking to her family again, they blow her phone up everyday , she tries to ignore most the calls but when she does answer the conversation never ends well.

Me: We will see about that😅. I gotta go though baby, I'll see you at the game. Love you!!!!😘

I texted Johni back before putting my phone down.

"I'm so fucking tired of them calling me yo" Kanae said walking out of the bathroom frowning.

"You okay?" I asked even though I already knew the answer.

"I wish I could just make a decision already, I wish this was simpler than it actually is"

The sad look on Kanae's face made me feel horrible. If we plan on playing a smooth game today we need her to be ready and this situation with her brother is getting harder and harder as the days pass.
No one else on the team knows about Nae's brother yet, so every time she snaps on someone I have to be there to calm down the situation. That I can handle , That isn't the worst part.

"Come 'ere." I motioned for her to sit on the bed with me. She sighed and did as she was told.

I leaned over to grab the notepad and pen that the Hotel had sitting on the night stand.

"You are going to make a Pros and Cons list."

"For what?" Nae asked her voice dripping with irritation.

I drew the T-chart and wrote 'If I pull" on one side of the 'T' and wrote "If I don't" on the other.

"It's just so you have a visual of all the things that could happen if you choose to pull the plug and what could happen if you don't" I turned over the pad to her along with the pen.

Kanae looked down at the chart for a few seconds before she decided to write something.

"Okay, well if I don't pull the plug my mom will be happy, but my dad would hate me.....I give my brother his 1 in a Billion chance of waking up." she wrote.
