The next day, my mom takes me to the doctor's office to get my foot checked out. The doctor said it is sprianed, and that I should have it wrapped up and use crutches for a week. When I got home, my mom helped me up the stairs and into my room.
"You need anything? I am going to go downstairs to make dinner."
"No thanks I’m good."
"OK, well just holler if you need anything."
"OK thanks."
My mom then walks down stairs and into the kitchen and starts to make dinner. I lay down on my bed, sigh, and get my phone to text Tyler.
A: Hi Tyler
T: Hey Alex. How is ur ankle?
A: Not so good. Had 2 get crutches 2day.
T: Aw I’m sorry. Do u need anything?
A: No, but thx tho.
T: Ok.... Do u wanna hang out 2morrow? We can take it easy and just lay on the couch and watch some shows.
A: That would be great! My place or yours?
T: I can come to your house, so you don’t have to walk with those crutches to my house.
A: Ok. Thanks for thinking of me.
T: No problem. I will bring snacks too.
A: Ok yay! My parents will be going out for dinner, so u can come over around dinner time if you want.
T: OK sounds good. Cya 2morrow @5.
A: OK bye :)
T: Bye :)
I lay back down on my bed, and my mom comes up the stairs and into my bedroom with a plate of food and a glass of milk.
"Here you go sweetie."
"Thanks mom. "
"We will be eating downstairs if you need anything."
"Ok thanks."
My mom leaves the room and I begin to eat and decide to check my phone. I look at my calendar and notices that in a week, I'm going on vacation!
I can’t wait to go to Hawaii! It will be so much fun! I am going to be away from Tyler for 2 weeks though.. Wait did I just say that I am going to miss him? We have only known each other for about 2 months now.... Ok gotta think of something else....
I finish up my dinner and my mom comes back up to get my plate and glass. It then gets late and Alex gets ready for bed and falls asleep and dreams of what it will be like to not see Tyler for 2 weeks.
~ The Next Day ~
Tyler goes to the store to get snacks for the evening, and by the time he gets back, he realizes that it is already time for him to go over. So, Tyler put the snacks in some bags and started to walk over to her house.
Her parents just left, and Tyler let himself in, and locked the front door, and walked over to where Alex was sitting on the couch in the living room.
"Hi Alex!"
"Hey! Thanks for coming over!"
"Anytime!" he says smiling.
"Did you have dinner before you came? Cuz I just had a little something."
"Ya, I did bring some snacks that we can eat throughout the night. "
"Ok!"
Tyler sets down the bags of snacks next to the couch and sits down next to me.
"So you wanna watch a movie?"
"Sure! Let’s see what I have- "
I start to get up, but Tyler stops me.
"No, you stay on the couch. I can find a movie for us. "
"Ok thank you."
"Where are your movies?"
"The cabinet under the TV."
Tyler then opens the cabinet to find tons of Disney movies.
" Wow I can see you guys are Disney fans! "
" Haha ya."
"Which one do you wanna watch?"
"I don’t care, you can pick since you are the guest. "
"Haha ok. "
Tyler grabs one and puts it in the DVD player, and gets the remote, sits down next to me, and presses play. Tyler gets some snacks out of the bag, opens them, and sets them on the table.
While watching the movie, we eat snacks, and laugh at the funny parts, and sometimes, we would look at each other in a certain way, but then go back to watching the movie.
Towards the end, I started to feel a bit sleepy, and leaned my head onto Tyler’s shoulder. I started to fall asleep, and Tyler noticed, and looked down at me and smiled.
~ Tyler ~
Aw Alex is so cute when she falls asleep! Wait what am I saying? I don’t like Alex! Well I like her as a friend, but not anything more. For now...
I then decided wether I should let her keep sleeping or not. I then decide to let her sleep for a bit, so I slowly lift her head and place it at the end of the couch, and slowly get up to sit on the sofa chair to watch the rest of the movie. A funny part comes on, and I laugh. I then completely forgot that Alex was sleeping! I look over and Alex, and she started to move her head, and her eyes fluttered open.
" Oh sorry Tyler was I sleeping?"
"Ya it’s ok though."
"Wait why are you over there? Come back and sit next to me."
"Well I just wanted to let you sleep, but then I woke you up... Sorry about that haha. "
Tyler walks back over to the couch and sits next to me, and I put my head on his shoulder again.
"Thanks again for coming over. "
"No problem. "
"Can I say something? "
" Sure, what is it? "
"I-I like it when we hang out. "
"Me too."
Tyler looks and me and we smile.
