Weeks go by, and Tyler and I are both settled into school, but I have been having a bit of trouble in Math, so Tyler has been helping me.
It is a rainy day, and we were on our way back from school. It is a Friday and I was going over to his house to hang out.
We get to his house and we go inside and head straight to his recording studio.
“I love this place now, it has started to become by second home.” I say, smiling.
“ I probably spend more time in here than in my bedroom... Haha.”
“Here, sit down.” he says, while grabbing out a chair for me to sit on.
“Thanks.”
“I have been thinking... for a while now... That you should start a YouTube channel, like me!”
“What?! Thats c-crazy!!”
“Hey don’t get your mind set to this being all crazy right now ok? I think that this is a perfect idea for you! You love to sing, but you are too nervous and shy to sing in front of people, and for this, it would be just singing to a camera! It’s perfect!”
“Tyler I don’t know about this...”
“Why don’t you just think about it ok? I just know that there are a lot of people out there that would fall in love with your voice.”
I blush and say, “Tyler...”
“It’s true though! But I do have one thing to ask you. How is it that I am the first person, out of everyone that you know, that you have sang to?”
I gulp, not knowing how to respond to what he just said.
I just can’t say that I may have feelings for him, and that I just seem comfortable singing to him! Then he would think that I do have feelings for him...
“Um, I just... Felt like you were the person that would...um... Listen to my voice and not care about wether I am good or not.”
“Um ok, thanks.” he says, smiling.
“So what do you wanna do now?”
“How about we watch a movie?”
“OK!”
Tyler and I walk upstairs into the living room and pick out a movie and sit down on the couch and begin to watch it.
During the first part of the movie, a storm began to roll in, and lightning began to strike.
“Geez that was a big one!” I say, after a clap of thunder echoed the house.
“Must be pretty close!”
After a few minutes, another big one striked, and that was when the power went out.
“Tyler!!”
“I’m right here it’s ok.” he says, while putting an arm around me for comfort.
“Thanks.”
“I should probably find a flashlight and find some candles to light.”
“OK I will stay here on the couch.”
Tyler then finds a flashlight in a drawer and turns it on and goes into the dinning room to find some candles.
And just when he found them, his flashlight went out.
“Darn it!! Alex, do you think you can make your way to the kitchen drawer that has a lighter in it?”
“Um sure.”
I slowly make my way through the darkness and feel my way to the drawer, find the lighter, and then slowly walk over to Tyler and feel my way to him.
Apparently we ran into each other, and we turned to face each other, and we were face to face, and then the power came back on.
“Um...” I say, realizing how akward this just got.
“Haha”
Tyler and i stared into each others’ eyes for a few minutes, but then we broke the stare.
“You uh, wanna get back to the movie?” Tyler said, trying to forget what just happened.
“Sure!”
Tyler and I walk back over to the living room and sit back down on the couch and Tyler turns the TV back on and luckily it saved our place.
When the movie ended, Tyler decided to walk me home.
The storm by then was all over, and the night sky was clear and full of stars.
Tyler and I walk outside and look up.
“Wow the sky is so pretty!” I say, looking at the stars and smiling.
“Just like you!” he says, then winking at me and then smiling back at me.
“Tyler stop!” I say, while playfully punching him.
“Hey! But it’s true.” he says, smiling at me again, which makes me blush big time.
We then walk to my house and when we get there, we stand outside of my house.
“Thanks for walking me home.” I say, smiling.
“Anytime.” he says, smiling.
“ Well, goodnight.”
“ Goodnight.”
We hug and then I head inside.
Something hit me and I opened the door again, to see Tyler just feet away from my yard, walking onto the sidewalk.
“ I think I am going to do it.”
“ Do what?”
“ I think I want to make a YouTube channel.”
“ Great!” he says, smiling.
“ So when do we start?”
“ First thing tomorrow morning.”
“ OK!” I say, smiling.
He smiles again, and walks home.
