More than just Friends? (A Tyler Ward and Alex G fanfinc)

Chapter 17: First Date

~ Alex ~ 

So today I am going on my first date, ever. I just wished that it was with Tyler....

I get dressed for the date, and at 6:30, Dylan picks me up and takes us out to dinner. 

 The ride there was pretty quite, and akward. I didn’t know what to say, and I feel like he didn’t either. 

We finally get there, and get seated at a table and order our food. 

The dinner goes by normally, and after we eat, he takes me home. 

When we get to my house, he stops the car and we look at each other. 

“ That was a nice first date.” he says, smiling. 

 “ Ya it was.” 

 He starts to lean in, and I panic, knowing that this is going way to fast, but luckily he only gave me a kiss on the cheek. 

We smile, and then I get out of the car and go inside. 

 ~ Tyler ~

I have to admit, it’s weird seeing Alex with a guy that’s not... Me. 

 And well... I have feelings for Alex. There I said it. I know that’s crazy, but ever since I first saw her when she moved her, I knew that she was the one. I just don’t think she has feelings for me, considering that she just got asked out by someone a couple days ago. 

I sigh, and continue writing a song, and the song... Is about Alex. 

 I just can’t stop thinking about her! 

 I got to be distracted though... I need to focus on what’s really important to me, and that’s music. 

I continue writing the song and figure out some chords, and continue to work on the song.

~ Alex ~ 

The next day, I go over to Tyler’s house to work on another song for my channel.  

“ Hi Alex.”  

“ Hey.” 

“ So you wanna get working on a new song?” 

“ Sure.”  

We head down to the basement, and go into the recording studio. 

We then start to work on a song, and after a couple hours, there was a knock on the door. 

“ Who’s that?” I say, wondering if he possibly got a girlfriend or something. 

“ Oh shoot! It’s Joey. We were going to work on a song for my channel this afternoon.”

“ Joey?” 

 “ He’s my friend.” 

 “ Oh.” 

 “ Ya, so let me go grab him.” 

 “ Ok.” 

 I awkwardly sit there as he goes and invites Joey in. 

 The two of them come down stairs and Tyler introduces me to him. 

 “ Joey this is my new friend, Alex.” 

 “ Hi.” 

 “ Hi.” 

 “ Well I see that you two need to get working on a song... I’ll text you?” I say, looking at Tyler, and noticing that Joey is eyeing me top to bottom. 

 I get my stuff and let myself out and head home. 

 ~ Tyler ~

 “Joey! Why did you have to stare at her like that?”

 “ Well why wouldn’t you?” 

 “ What?” 

 “ She’s hot Tyler! Don’t you see it?

  “ Um ya...” 

 “ Tyler common I know you like her. Admit it.”

 He then eyes a lyric sheet that I left on the desk and reads it. 

 “ Tyler, is this about someone?”

 “ Uh maybe...” 

 He smiles and says, “ Is this about someone that was just here possibly?” 

 “ Joey stop, ok?” 

“ Just give me the name, common!” 

We then sit down at the computers and I take a deep breath. 

“ It’s about Alex. There. You happy?”

“ Yep! So why haven’t you asked her out already?” 

 “ Well about that... She has a boyfriend...” 

 “ Oh...”

 “ Ya...”

 “ You wanna um work on the song?” 

 “ Ya. It would be a good idea to not think about her for a bit.” 

 “ Ya.” 

 We then work on the song for a couple hours, and then Joey had to go home. 

 After I eat dinner, I sit down on my couch and look around. For some reason, I see something. 

 I have a flashback of the time Alex was over during a big storm, and how we watched a movie together. I see her sitting down next to me, and smiling.

 I try to shake my head out of it, but the vision gets stronger. 

 I then hear voices in my head when Alex and I went outside after the storm was over.

“Wow the sky is so pretty!” Alex says, looking at the stars and smiling. 

 “ Just like you!” I say, then winking at her, then smiling back at her. 

 “ Tyler stop!” she says, while playfully punching me. 

 “ Hey! But’s it’s true.” I say, smiling at her again, which makes her blush big time. 

I gotta shake out of this! Ugh! I just... Really like her..... But she has someone now... I just wished that I told her earlier.....
