I woke up to find myself practically lying right next to Tyler.

As my eyes fulling opened, I could see that he was already awake, and was looking at me and smiling.

“ What?” was the first thing that I said to him.

“ Nothing…” he says, still staring at me.

I then realized that my shirt wasn’t pulled up all the way, so I quickly pull it up.

“ Tyler! My eyes are up here.” I say, playfully.

“ S-sorry.” he says, shaking out of it.

We then both get out of bed and get ready for the long day ahead of us.

Once we packed our things up and put them back into the car, we set off to our destination.

The car ride there was quite most of the time, because for some reason I didn’t know what to bring up to talk about.

“ So…” I say, trying to think of something.

“ How’s Dylan?” he says, while having is eyes still on the road.

“ He’s good…” I say, not knowing where this is going to go.

“ That’s good…” he says.

Apparently he wasn’t going to say anything else about him, which was good, because I would have been worried if he was going to say something bad about him or something like that.

We continued to drive in silence for awhile, and then we decided to go to the nearest rest stop to take a break and get a snack.

“ I’ll stay in the car.” he says as he parks next to the convenience store.

“ Ok. Do you want anything?” I ask him as I get out of the car.

“ Sure, surprise me.” he says, smiling.

“ Alrighty then.” I say, smiling.

I then go into the store, and I hear a bell ding as I opened the door.

“ Hi there sweetie.” the lady at the cash register said.

“ Hi.” I akwardly say back, and continue to walk to what I came in for.

I walk closer to her, and as I was about to turn into an isle, she begins to talk again.

“ Is that your guy out there? He’s pretty handsome.” she says, winking.

I stop moving and turn to her.

“ Um..no…he’s just a friend…a good friend.” I say, hoping this conversation would stop.

“ Well you would be a pretty lucky gal if he was!” she says, smiling at me, then glancing at our car that was parked outside.

“ Yeah…” I say, thinking about telling her everything, but then realizing that she’s pretty much a stranger and now I should just get what I came in here for.

I then go down an isle and grab some snacks, and something for Tyler, and then pay for my things.

“ So where are you guys headed?” she asks as she rings up the stuff.

“ To the uh four corners.”

“ Cool!”

“ Yeah.” I say, as I grab my wallet out of my purse.

“ So did he ask you to go on this road trip thing?” she says, smiling again.

“ Yeah…”

“ He must like ya then.” she says, looking at me, then at the car.”

“ N-n-no haha…” I say, trying to laugh about this whole thing.

“ Sure! I know love when I see it!” she says, laughing lightly.

“ I’m sure.” I say, chuckling.

“ No, but I’m serious.” she says, as she puts our snacks in a bag, and then hands it to me. “ You guys would be perfect for each other, just saying.”

“ Well ok… I should get going, he’s been waiting.” I say, looking at our car.

“ Ok then! Thanks for stopping by!” she says, waving as I head out.

As I got into the car, Tyler looks at me.

“ Hey let me help you.” he says as he grabs the bag, which I was still holding.

His hand held mine, and before I knew it, we were staring at each other.

“ Is that your guy out there? He’s pretty handsome.”

“Well you would be a pretty lucky gal if he was!”

The words rang inside of my head, and I quickly shook out of it, and looked away from him.

“ Y-you ok?” he says, holding my arm.

“ Yeah..” I say, turning back to face him.

She is kinda right. He is handsome.
