More than just Friends? (A Tyler Ward and Alex G fanfinc)

Chapter 5: A Big Mess

Two months go by, and Tyler and I hung out pretty much every single day and we have been getting to know each other. 

 It was a rainy day in late August, and I was walking over to Tyler’s house, with an umbrella in my hand, humming a song that Tyler was working on the last time I was over there, which was 2 days ago. I reached his house and rang the doorbell, and start to shake my umbrella. 

The door opened, and there stood Tyler, smiling at me.  

“ Hi there.” he said “ You need help?”

“ I think I got it...” I say, struggling, and then the umbrella opens full out on Tyler. 

“ Whoops... Haha sorry.”  

“ Haha no worries. But let me help you-”  

Tyler goes to grab the holding part of the umbrella, but then touches Alex’s hand by accident. He looks at her, and smiles. They then both close it together, and Tyler sets it against the house. 

“ Come inside now, it’s nasty outside.” 

“ Thanks.” 

 They then both go inside and go into the kitchen. 

“ You want anything?” he asks, as he starts to get a glass.

“ Sure but first I just realized that I left my phone on your porch swing let me go grab it.” 

“ OK” 

 I open the front door, and as I step outside, I trip and sprain my ankle. 

“ OOWW!” I say, grabbing my ankel in pain.  

Alex then hears glass shatter, and someone running towards the front door.

“ What happened?”  

Alex then turns to face to see that it is Tyler. 

“ I tripped and I think I sprained my ankle, it hurts really bad.” she said as she rubbed her ankle with her hand.  

“ How did you even trip?” 

“ I don’t even know haha” 

Tyler looks at the floor by the door and see a piece of wood raised and a nail sticking up too. 

“ Oh geez I see why. Wait is your ankle bleeding at all?”  

“ I don’t think so-” 

Alex then lifts up her sock to see blood starting to run down her foot. 

“ Ow ok this hurts really bad now!” 

“ Here let me carry you inside.” 

“ Carry me?” 

“ Ya, how else are you supposed to go back inside?” 

“ Well Ok..” 

Tyler then picks up Alex and puts her phone in his back pocket and turns back to face her, and realized how close he was to her. All of the sudden both their hearts start to race and the stare into each others eyes, and wonder how this keeps happening. 

“ Um Tyler my foot!”  

“ Oh s-sorry” 

Tyler then carries Alex to the couch and carefully sets her down and takes her sock off. He then goes into the kitchen, but completely forgets that there is glass on the floor from when he dropped the glass when he heard Alex scream in pain.
