"Okay, I can't just go up to him and ask him out." I mutter as my friend tries to get me to ask my crush out.
"Why not? You're hot and any guy would be happy to go out with you." She says and I roll my eyes.
"One; if you call being awkward hot, you need to get your priorities checked, and two; we've barely had a single conversation together." I reason and pull my backpack strap to a more comfortable position, if that's even possible.
"Love at first sight, duh." I smack her arm and she laughs. "Girls need to step up more and ask the guy out. You can start a chain reaction." She points at me and I roll my eyes once again.
"Yeah, not going to hap-" Before I can finish, I'm being shoved.
Hands quickly grab my waist and my hands land on a firm chest. I slowly look up and see a very attractive face.

My face immediately starts to heat up as he lets go of my waist and I step away. I brush my hair behind my ear.
"You okay?" He asks with an amused smile.
"Yeah, I can be quit clumsy sometimes." I say. I see y/f/n standing at a locker down the hall, giving me a thumbs up. I mentally roll my eyes. Here we go.
"So, umm, I was wondering if you'd maybe like to go out sometime?" I shyly ask, trying to make very minimal eye contact.
"Sure." My head snaps up and I see him shrug. "I was actually going to ask you but didn't know how." He chuckled and my heart began to beat faster.
"Really?" I ask.
"Really. Your plan was actually way better than what I had in mind." I smile. "So, can I walk you to class? You know, since we go to the same place."
I softly laugh. "Sure."
