Tear Stained Shirt

It's hard to find a gif for every chapter bc I can't remember which ones I've already done.

"Did you hear what happened to Allison?" I look over and see two girls peaking over their shoulders to look at me, not being very subtle.

"Are you sure she was killed? She could've committed suicide because her family is crazy." The other girl says. I clench my teeth.

"Or do you think her friends killed her? Y/n is the quiet kind. It's always those kind that are sneaky and can get away with anything." I hear them laugh and walk away.

I feel my throat tighten and tears threaten to spill. I stare into my locker, telling myself to breath.

"Hey y/n-" I hear a familiar voice say. "-Hey. Are you okay?"

I shake my head softly and shut my locker.

"What's wrong?" Stiles asks quietly.

I clear my throat. "There were these girls and they were saying awful things about us killing Allison or-or me killing her because I'm the 'quiet kind'." I use air quotes.

"You can't listen to them." He puts his hands on my arms, trying to calm me down.

"I've been hearing it all day. I can't not listen to them." I finally look up into his eyes. "I can't believe she's gone." He pulls me into a hug and I break down. "I miss her."

He holds me tight as I cry into his shirt.

"I know. We all do." He mutters.

I pull away and wipe my face. "She would've been able to stand up for me or herself. I can't." I look down at my hands.

"Hey." He uses his fingers to lift up my chin. "It'll go away. People will stop. This happens all the time, especially if you're involved with the supernatural." He shrugs. "People make up crazy rumors."

I softly smile. My eyes go towards his tear stained shirt and grimace. "Ew. I'm so sorry."

He laughs and shrugs. "I've had worse on shirts." He squints his eyes as if regretting he said that.

I laugh. "I don't want to know."

"Ready to head to class?" He says, holding out his hand. I intertwine our fingers and sigh heavily.

"Ready as I'll ever be, I guess."
