Set Him On Fire

"Scott bit the kid."

"He did what?!" I yell. Stiles quickly covers my mouth. I glare at Scott and grab Stiles's hang, ripping it off my mouth. "Seriously?"

Scott looked at me guiltily. "I was trying to save him-"

"How?" I run my hands through my hair. "How Scott? We already have enough werewolves in this town."

"He was falling off the building and the mouthless guy had my arms!"

I scrunch my eyebrows in confusion and look at Stiles who just shrugged. I sigh. "So what are we going to do?"

"He hates us so he won't listen." Scott shrugs.

"Well yeah, you bit him." I give him a look.

Stiles raises his hand. "I have a solution." We turn towards him, lifting our eyebrows to tell him to continue. "We set him on fire."

"Absolutely not." I start walking away from the two.

"How is that gonna fix anything?" I hear Scott say as they follow me.

"You won't have to deal with the kid."

"We don't want another Peter Hale situation!" Scott hisses.

"But-"

I stop and the boys run into me. I turn around. I brush off Stiles's shoulders, giving him a smile. He looks at me with a weird. "Look. You're cute and really smart, but sometimes you can be an idiot."

Scott laughs before walking into class.

I thought Stiles would fight back with something sarcastic but instead he just smiles. "You think I'm cute?"

I feel myself blush and scoff, trying to play cool. "Sometimes."

"I think you're cute, too."

"Ew. Get a room."

I look over and see Lydia pretending to gag before sending me a wink. I roll my eyes.

She knows about my crush on Stiles.

"Do you want to get ice cream after school?" I look back at Stiles who is rubbing the back of his neck.

I tilt my head. "Don't you have a kid to babysit?"

He groans. "You're right."

I smile. "Rain check?"

Stiles nods. "Rain check."
