Finn walked up to Millie, noticing that Jo Jo was just talking to her. Millie had a look of shock on her face. "Is everything ok?" He asked. Millie nodded and grabbed her books. Finn wasn't sure he should be convinced about that. "Mills, if anything or anyone is bothering you, you can tell me. Are you sure your ok?" Millie nodded assuredly. Finn noticed she seemed to be telling the truth. He shrugged and walked wth her to their first class, math. Finn noticed heads turning to look at them. People still seemed to think it was odd that Finn, the popular kid, would like a quiet, non-popular girl like Millie. Finn ignored them and walked into class with Millie, sitting in the desk next to her. "Hello class! And good morning!!" Their teacher, Mr. Brenner said. He started talking about math and Finn spaced out. He noticed how Millie and Jo Jo exchanged glances every so often. But they were nice glances, not evil like Jo Jo usually is. He knew something was up. At the end of class, he walked over to Millie.
"Millie, is there something going on between you and Jo Jo?" Millie shrugged. "I know there is Millie. You can tell me you know, I'm your friend." Finn said. Millie grabbed his hand and pulled him to a corner of the hallway. The bell rang for the next class and everyone left he hallway, leaving them alone. Millie write something on paper and handed it to Finn. It said: promise not to tell anyone this, but Jo Jo has depression. And so do I. So we have a kind of connection. Finn was speechless. Millie had depression?? Jo Jo did? "Millie I'm so sorry," Finn said. No one should have to go through depression at such a young age. Finn saw tears on Millie's cheeks. He felt so bad. He pulled her into a loving hug. "Millie, no matter what happens I will always care about you and no one should have to go through depression ever, and im so sorry. I know we haven't known each other for a really log time, but," Finn pulled away to look into Millie's eyes. "I love you Millie." Millie looked back at him and smiled.
"I love you Finn," she said. It was just barely a whisper, but t made them both jump. Millie smiled so big and so did Finn. "YOU TALKED MILLIE YOU TALKED!!!!" Finn picked her up into a hug and she laughed. She could only whisper for now, but it was enough. He dropped her and smiled. "Let's go to class, shall we?" He said, offering her his arm.
"We shall!" She laughed, and Finn and Millie walked to class the happiest hey had ever been.
