Millie wolfed down school lunch and strides outside, where she knows Finn is going to be. Apparently Finn told everyone (Noah, Gaten, Sadie and Caleb) and now they are ignoring me. I'm pretty angry with him for that. I had texted Noah and he said he wasn't mad at me but didn't know what to believe.
As I walked up to 'the gang' I felt as if I'd never known Finn. As he turned to look at me, hands in his pockets, I felt how I did before I met him: like he was the cool guy (which he was) and I was an insignificant little school girl. "What?" He asked annoyed. Noah waved at her from behind Finn and she waved back with her hand down. Millie then turned to Finn. Her heart started to pound in her chest as she pulled on his arm. He pulled away. "No, Millie. I don't want to talk."
"Oh, give her a chance Finn." A voice said. Millie turned to see Noah walking up. The rest of the gang slowly trailed behind.
"Why? She's a cheater."
"She could be telling the truth. You don't know." Sadie nodded and slid her hand into Noah's. He squeezed it.
"I kinda agree Finn." She said. I gave her a small smile and she returned it. Finn sighed angrily.
"I do know Noah!! I saw her kiss Jacob. I saw it! You didn't!" Noah bit his lip.
"I didn't mean to!" Millie barely choked out. Finn was the only person she could talk to, but she basically couldn't anymore.
"How could you NOT mean to kiss someone?!?"
"He forced me," Millie barely whispered.
"Yeah right. Why would he kiss you on purpose? Huh?"
Millie was silent. Her throat felt to clenched to talk. It was getting worse as she talked to Finn. She actually couldn't talk to anyone anymore. Finn raised his eyebrows.
"See?" He said. Millie could tell his anger was building. "YOU MEANT TO KISS HIM MILLIE. NO EXCUSE!! GET AWAY FROM ME! JUST GO!!!!" Finn yelled. Millie tried to talk but all that came out was sobs. She walked maybe ten feet before she collapsed in sobs, not able to stop. When she wiped away tears more came. She heard Noah arguing with Finn somehow, and heard Finn stomp past her. Gaten and Caleb followed Finn, but Noah and Sadie walked up to her. They pulled her into a hug and Noah stroked her hair like she was a baby. It felt good though.
They held her as her body racked and shook with sobs.
Noah and Sadie's shoulders were both wet by the time she stopped. She wiped her eyes and saw it, and almost cried again but Noah assured her it was ok. They ran to their lockers and got there on the second bell. They ran to class and and apologized. It was math, and Finn purposely moved as far away from Millie as possible. She had no idea what she was going to do. She couldn't have Sadie or Noah talk to Jacob. It had to be her. But without talking, how could she possibly do it?
Now I'm wondering myself what I'm gonna do now.....😂😂 I'll figure it out soon😂👍🏻💙
