**2 DAYS LATER**

"Sam!" I called out, summoning the child from his room.

"What do you need? You better not be pranking Aaron again." Sam stated as he joined Colby, Haley and I in the living room.

"No." I laughed. "I was wondering if I could use your desk area to edit the video. Aaron is sleeping and I need to edit somewhere where I won't be distracted." I said, glaring evilly at Haley and Colby.

"I didn't do it." Haley screamed on instinct, throwing her hands up and accidentally hitting Colby's cheek. "Sorry, babe!" She said, kissing the side of his face.

"Fine, just don't eat my pizza rolls."

We all laughed as I made my way up to his room, grabbing my laptop.

I opened the door to Kat listening to music.

"Kat, I'm kicking you out. Sam said I could edit in here." I laughed as I pulled out her earbuds.

Once she left, I left the door creaked open and sat in his chair, editing the prank video. It was the first time I had seen all the footage from Sam's camera and I sat there bawling from how sad Aaron was.

When I had only made it halfway through, someone opened the door but I was too wrapped up in my own business to realize it.

"Everything okay?" Aaron asked, spinning the chair around to look at me.

"Yeah. It is just... I haven't seen the footage until now and it was so sweet. You cared so much, even though you thought I had broken up with you." I said, wiping he tears from my eyes.

"Of course I cared. I love you, Mack."

He leaned in and kissed me before pulling me out of the chair. "I asked Haley to finish editing the video so that I could take you somewhere."

He grabs my hand, pulling me out the door and down the stairs.

"Where are we going?" I asked him.

"It's a secret."

"Last time you did this, I got a spider put in my hands and you got pranked, my friend. You really wanna do this again?" I jokingly threatened.

He refused to answer any of my questions and forced me into the car. He drove for roughly ten minutes before stopping and letting me out of the car. All I heard was barking and I knew what he was doing.

"Are we getting a puppy?!" I screamed excitedly.

"Yes!" He said while taking off my blindfolds.

Once the blindfold was off, I saw the cutest little german shepherd puppy sitting there staring at me with his huge, chocolate brown eyes.

"Aww!" I whined, picking the puppy up.

Tears streamed from my eyes as I snuggled my face into the dog's dark brown fur.

"My heart!"

"I knew you'd love him." Aaron confidently states as he kisses my forehead and pets the puppy. "You ready to meet your new big brother?"

The little dog barked in response while Aaron paid the woman at the shelter and brought a small cage to the car.

"How are we going to tell everyone?" I asked Aaron, who was stopping at Little Caesars for some pizza.

"Call Brennan or Jake and come up with a way to tell them all." He said, leaving me alone with the puppy.

I picked up my cell, beginning to call Brennan since Jake already helped me prank everyone.
