"Mackenzie!" I yell from downstairs.
I hear footsteps leading down the stairs and Mackenzie being followed by Buddy and Gator. "Yeah."
"You wanna go catch a movie? I'm bored since Colby is out with Sam today doing an exploring video."
"Sure, which one?"
"I don't know. I was thinking we'd figure that out once we get there. You got money on you, right? Cause I ain't paying for you."
"Yeah, yeah, don't worry."
I drive the twenty minutes it took to get to the movie theater and Mackenzie points out a Dollar General a few stores away.
"Hey, look over there." She says as I pull into a parking space.
"Oh my god." I impersonate Janice from Friends. "We must go."
"Do you think your purse is big enough?" She asks.
"Of course, remember how we would fit a crap ton of stuff into my bags that are even smaller than this."
"That was the good times."
We run into the Dollar General, and it feels like the old times when we waited for our friends Aaron and Josie at the Dollar General near the movie theater in our hometown back in Florida.
Mackenzie grabs a basket when I turn around to ask her something. "Oh, so you think we actually need that?"
"Yeah, you usually grab a ton of food."
"Well I'm pregnant, so give me a break." I laugh.

Later that night I realize I haven't pulled a revenge prank on Mackenzie. I walk into Mackenzie and Aaron's room and notice Aaron is alone. "Hey, can we talk?"
"Is something wrong?" He looks concerned.
"I haven't gotten revenge on Mack for the cheating prank."
"Ooh."
"I'm going to do the lyric prank text with a song I really like called Real Friends. It's by Camila Cabello, if you know who she is."
"Yeah, I think I know her."
"I'm gonna go to my friend's apartment to film the video since she's downstairs. If she asks you what's happening say you know nothing."
"Okay."

I get to my friends apartment since I'm supposed to house sit while she's visiting family back in Florida. "Hey beauties. So today I realized that I still haven't gotten my revenge on Mackenzie since she pulled the cheating prank on me, and team Haley needs to step up their game. I'm going to be taking the lyrics from Real Friends by Camila Cabello and well pranking her over text. Let's get this started."
Me: No, I think I'll stay in tonight
Skip the conversations and the "Oh, I'm fines"
Mackenzie: What do you mean by "oh I'm fines" are you ok???
Me: No, I'm no stranger to surprise
This paper town has let me down too many times
Mackenzie: You aren't making sense wth
Me: Why do I even try? Give me a reason why
Mackenzie: Try what??
Me: I thought that I could trust you, never mind
Mackenzie: What did I do? What happened.
Mackenzie: *missed call*
Me: Why all the switching sides? Where do I draw the line? I guess I'm too naive to read the signs
Mackenzie: Haley answer the phone you aren't making sense
Mackenzie: *missed FaceTime call*
Mackenzie: *missed FaceTime call*
Me: I'm just lookin' for some real friends
Me: All they ever do is let me down
Mackenzie: What the hell!? What did I do? Please tell me!!
Me: Every time I let somebody in
Me: Then I find out what they're all about
Mackenzie: Find out what??
Mackenzie: *missed FaceTime call*
Me: I'm just lookin' for some real friends
Me: Wonder where they're all hidin' out
Mackenzie: I thought I was your real friend!? What happened to us!?
Me: Gotta get up out of this town
Mackenzie: Are you leaving? And just now telling me!
Me: Been feelin' so alone in every crowded room
Can't help but feel like something's wrong, yeah
Mackenzie: GOD DAMMIT HALEY! THIS MUST BE A PRANK YOU LEFT YOUR COMPUTER OPEN WITH THE LYRICS TO A CAMILA CABELLO SONG!!!
Me: WELCOME TO THE MEGA PRANK WAR!!
Mackenzie: I hate you
Me: love you too

"Colby!" I yell. "Can you edit my video from today for me?"
He runs into the room. "Yeah, sure. You okay?"
"Yeah, I'm not feeling the greatest. Just some cramps."
"Do you need me to do anything?" He starts to adjust my pillows.
"Can you go get my heating pad? It just seems to get worse."
"I'll be back in a minute, I believe Devyn borrowed it last."
As he heads out of the room I get up to go to the bathroom. Mackenzie walks out of Sam's room after stealing his vlogging camera. "You okay? You don't look good."
"Just some cramps. I'll be fine."
I get into the bathroom to start a quick shower, which usually helps me with the pain. Before I can remove my shorts I begin to see blood dripping down my thigh. "Colby!" My voice gets shaky. "Colby!!" I begin to panic.
He runs into the bathroom and sees the blood dripping down my leg. "Oh my god. We need to get you to the hospital." He grabs a towel before we run downstairs to get to his car.
"What's going on?" Mackenzie asks.
"Haley's bleeding, it could be bad." Colby says as he slams the door.
