"Haley's bleeding, it could be bad." Colby says as he slams the door.

As we start driving to the hospital there happens to be traffic causing us to be stuck miles away.

"Colby." I say crying. "I'm worried."

He grabs a hold of my hand. "Everything will be fine. I hope it will. It has to be fine."

"I'm scared. What if something is wrong with the baby."

"Sawyer or Rose will be okay." He reassures me.

Traffic finally starts to clear up and we rush to get to the emergency room.

Colby pulls up the front and picks me up bridal style from the car and runs into the ER. "I need a doctor here! She pregnant and bleeding!"

"Is everything okay, Doctor?" Colby asks.

"I'm sorry to say this, but you just had a miscarriage."

"What?" I slightly sit up. "What do you mean?"

"On the ultrasound, we noticed some small small cysts caused by Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. Which caused the miscarriage. The PCOS can be cured, but first we must worry about delivering the baby. Should we schedule a c-section or induce you to have a natural labor?"

"Just do the c-section. I don't think I can handle doing it myself."

A few hours after the c-section all the roommates come to visit me in the hospital.

Mackenzie walks in first, and I can see the tears in her eyes. "I'm so sorry Haley."

"I'll be fine."

"No you won't. I know you won't. I've been your friend since we were in sixth grade, I know when you will be fine or not." She begins to cry. "I'm so sorry." She pulls me into a hug as we both cry together. Colby walks over, tears streaming down his face, and joins the hug before Brennen walks into the room.

"Hey, can I talk to Haley alone?"

"Sure." The say in unison, as the wipe away the tears.

Mackenzie and Colby exit the room as Brennen walks over to me. "I'm really sorry about everything going on. I shouldn't have been such a dick to you lately."

"It was the one time Brennen, it's fine."

"No, it's been more than that."

"What do you mean?"

"The day I invited you two to play the ouija board, I moved to piece to make it say ZoZo just to fuck with you. The day that you and Colby got into the fight about your own friend, I called him and told him that you were cheating. A few months after you and Colby got together I tried to convince him to dump you, because of something you didn't do. I've been such a dick."

"Why would you do that?"

"I was afraid of losing my best friend."

"You weren't going to lose him, Brennen. I wouldn't let that happen. Sure I want time with my boyfriend, but you deserve to spend time with him. Just I'm vetoing sleepovers every week."

"So every other week?"

"How about when I'm ready to go home we can have a sleepover, bring Madi with you. I know you really like her."

"Yeah, I really do. She's great."

Everyone else came in to visit me, and everyone cried except for Elton. That heartless man.

I'm mostly worried for Amanda, she's due in four months, and knowing that I just lost my baby will make her super worried. She's probably freaking out to Elton.

Amanda's POV

"Elton, what if that was me? What if I had the miscarriage? Would you still want to marry me?"

"Of course. I don't just want to marry you because we're starting a family, I'm marrying you because I fell in love with an amazing woman."

"What if something happens to the baby, or me?"

"Everything will be okay." Elton tried to reassure me.

"You don't know that." My hand rested on my bump. "You don't know if it will be fine."

He stared at me and put his hand on top of mine, both feeling as baby Lincoln kicked like crazy. "He's alive and healthy. If something happens now they can still save him, Haley was just too soon."

I kissed him and we both leaned back into the uncomfortable hospital chairs.

As I was laying my head on his chest, Mack and Aaron walked in. "Hey, how is she?" He asked Colby, who was having a breakdown of his own.

"Miserable."

As I heard those words I felt awful. My baby is fine. Her baby is dead. My baby is kicking. Her baby isn't even breathing.

I can't do anything. All I can do is hope that my baby is okay, making it less heartbreak for everyone.
