I hear the door creak open and a very familiar voice, but I was too tired to even wake up. "Have you guys seen Mack?"

The person stood for a while before a half-asleep Colby got up and answered the door. "What do you need Aaron?"

"I'm looking for Mack. I can't find her anywhere."

"She isn't here." Colby says, opening the door to reveal only him and me still passed out on the bed wearing his pink hoodie. I usually wear his shirts he takes off before bed. They always smell like him and it makes me feel protected when he's not around. Colby shuts the door and turns on the light. "Babe, wake up." He slightly shakes my leg and I quickly sit up.

"What? It's two in the morning, babe."

"Mackenzie is gone. Aaron can't find her anywhere."

I grab my phone and see no text messages from her. I call her and after a few seconds she answers. "Where are you?" I scream, but quiet enough that I won't wake everyone in the house.

"Don't worry. It's a prank. I am on the roof with Jake. Please, just make sure he doesn't call the cops to report me missing. Sam will come get us eventually and I am gonna hide in the closet."

"He is gonna kill you." Colby says.

"Nah, he is gonna love me." She laughs.

I hang up the phone. "You're not wrong. He's going to be pissed." We walk out of our room and Aaron is searching all over the place for Mackenzie.

"She left a note. She said she is breaking up with me." A panicked Aaron says while crying on Corey's shoulder.

"We can't find her. We looked everywhere." Colby mentions.

"I'm calling the police." He quickly picks up his phone.

"No." I say. "You are supposed to wait twenty-four hours. But, do one more sweep of the house. If you don't find her then we will call the cops." I lied. I know that is a myth. If you're really concerned you should notify the police as soon as possible, but it's a waste of time when she's just waiting on the roof.

Sam goes upstairs to the bathroom and I know Mackenzie is going to come inside. "Look upstairs. She might be hiding." Devyn says.

"Okay. I will check my room, you guys all check your's." Aaron bolts upstairs as we all follow him. "Mack!" Aaron screams.

I sigh in relief. He finally found her and we can all go back to sleep.

Colby and I walk to our room and I plop onto our bed. "Don't ever do something like that to me, Colby. I know you do pranks like that. You know how I am. The things I've experienced is not fun."

"I know, babe. I'm not that cruel." He lays down next to me and wraps his arms around my small body.

The next morning and I wake up to Colby not next to me. "Colby?" I call out, hoping he was nearby. Nothing. I get up and start looking around, not caring that I'm not wearing any pants. "Colby?" I say as I walk downstairs. I look to my right and see someone do a back flip into the pool. I sigh in relief and realize that he was just in the pool the whole time. Wait, what time is it? I walk into the kitchen and check the time. How in the world is it almost noon? I walk outside and Colby comes running up to me and grabs me. "Colby! You're soaking wet!" I yell as he throws me into the pool. "What are you doing?!"

"Good morning, babe! You're missing all the fun!"

"I would rather go back inside."

"Party pooper!" He yells out.

"Grow up! Some people don't tan like you in the sun. Sam, Mack, and I all burn really fast. Give me a break!"

Colby jumps into the pool and splashes everywhere.
