The carriage bounced on the bumpy road, we passed through towns in a breeze. I was getting so impatient. If I was getting married I wanted to get over with.

I wonder what-my-husband-to be would be like. He was probably ugly, old, and fat, maybe all three.

I looked out the curtained window. Pedestrians stopped to stare at the royal carriage. People recognized the royal symbol on the black door. The symbol had a shield with a lion and on either side. I pulled the curtain back and sighed I was going to be stuck in this carriage forever!

The driver didn't stop. I didn't want to waiste twelve hours of our journey. I would be fine sleeping in the carriage. I knew I was being selfish so I made myself promise to stop at the next inn.

My eyelids grew heavy with exhaustion. I leaned my head against the seat and fell into a world of sleep and dreams.
