CHRISTMAS DAY

SNOW

It was Christmas day and Barry had left the house early to search for a store that was open to buy extra things for our party tonight. We invited our friends from Star City and Kara's Earth and we'd exchange gifts tonight.

Taking this opportunity of being alone, I called over Iris and Felicity so they could be here when I took this test.

"Hey." Felicity said as I opened the door to be met with her, Iris and the baby.

I opened the door wider so they could come in. They sat on the couch and I walked in front of them holding the test in my hand.

"We're right here." Iris soothed and I nodded, going into the bathroom.

After a few minutes of pacing around after I took the test, the results came up. All I could do was stare at it and walk out with it in hand.

Both Iris and Felicity stood up and I showed them the results. Their eyes looking from there to me, not knowing what exactly to say.

TIME JUMP

Hours after I took the test, I just spent time staring at it. After awhile, I wrapped it and place it inside a gold present box, to make it look something worth opening. And it definitely was no matter what.

Barry soon came home as well with bags of snacks and party stuff for our Christmas get together later this evening.

"You excited for tonight?" Barry asked and rubbed my shoulders as I sat on the couch.

"Very," I replied and held his hands in mine, "Tonight's going to be special. I bet my gift is better than yours."

He scoffed, "Nothing can beat the gift I got you."

I rolled my eyes playfully, "Okay tough guy, whatever you say."

LATER THAT NIGHT

Everyone started to pile inside our apartment. Some came early, like Iris and Felicity. Others came late. Very late.

As soon as everyone arrived with their gifts, we started the gift exchange. It was rule that everyone had to buy a gift for everyone else that was invited to the party.

Everyone would gather up their gifts from one another and we'd go around in a circle opening them, one by one.

This year, we decided to start with Felicity. She grabbed a gift neatly wrapped from me. She unwrapped it quickly and gasped.

"You didn't just get me this!" She squeals.

"I think I just did." I replied and sipped from my hot chocolate and snuggled next to Barry.

After that fiasco, we moved onto Oliver, who sat next to her. He unwrapped a gift from Cisco, which he always opened first every year. This year, Cisco made Oliver a new mask. This time with cool features, like x-ray vision or night vision. Oliver didn't think much of it so Cisco decided to explain everything later.

Next to Oliver sat, coincidently, Cisco. Cisco opened up his gift from Iris and as soon as he saw the label he gasped.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" He said with excitement.

We went around the entire circle to the point where everyone had none, Barry had one from me, and I had to open my gift for Barry.

"So, Barry, what'd you get me?" I asked him as I walked back from the kitchen, still standing.

"Engaged." He replied smoothly, making sure I stayed standing.

"Engag-" I started to question but he got on one knee and pulled out a red velvet box.

Everyone began to cheer and watch in excitement while Cisco recorded it all.

"Caitlin Snow," he began, "You are the most amazing thing to ever happen to me and I don't ever want to spend another minute apart from you. I'm the fastest man alive, Caitlin. And I wouldn't be alive without you. Will you, Caitlin Snow, make me the luckiest man alive, and marry me?"

I felt the tears explode and I nodded my head yes extremely, "Yes! A thousand times yes!"

Barry smiled and stood up, slipping the ring on my finger and we kissed. The group with us just cheered, probably disrupting the neighbors. But we didn't care, love is in the air tonight.

Once we sat down, Barry took a deep breath.

"I definitely don't think your gift could beat mine." Barry said as I laughed softly and looked over at Felicity and Iris.

The both of them nodded their heads, some way to tell me that it would be okay and that they were here for me.

Barry opened up the box to find gold wrapping paper surrounded by white ones, plus a note saying to open the white ones first. On the note, it also pointed to which one he needs to open first.

Barry did so with all of them. It spelled out "CONGRATULATIONS".

"Congratulations?" Barry questioned and grabbed the gold wrapped gift while everyone watched confused.

Barry slowly unwrapped it and smile crept onto his face before he started to tear up, "Really?"

Not going to lie, but I started to cry too, "Yes, Barry. I took it three times. I'm pregnant."

Everyone that didn't know gasped and cheered as Barry grabbed me in for a kiss and a tight hug, "God, I love you, Caitlin."

"I love you too, Barry."
