"Mom, thanks for dropping my bag off last night. I had nothing to wear." They were sitting at the dining room of the inn with Edward's parents eating breakfast. Jolene had her plate piled with egg omelet, five slices of thick bacon, two pieces of buttered toast and several melon slices. She had her hair down and a new red dress on.

"I thought you would need it."

"What about your sari?" Edward asked.

"YOU left it on the floor next to the tub when YOU took it off me, now it's wet."

"Wasn't thinking that clearly. You took quite a bit of food sweetheart."

"I'm starving, yesterday was strenuous. You wore me out."

"You did a lot of dancing."

"Yup, you too, and some other stuff too!" she said with a devilish smile. Edward blushed with her teasing remark.

"What's that big red mark on your neck son, cut yourself shaving?" Craig asked.

"Didn't shave today, why?"

"I did that," Jolene laughed. "I sort of bit him. Actually I sucked as hard as I dared."

"I don't remember..."

"You were sleeping and I was bored, so I marked you as mine." Mari and Jolene laughed and Edward blushed. "I like to tease Eddie, he turns such a nice color of red."

"It runs in the family," Mari teased. "That's a hickey you gave Ed."

"Jo and I plan to go to Novi in a few days."

"I expected that," Craig said.

"Will you be able to handle everything without me?"

"I'll just break the lease and have the machines moved aboard a narrow boat. I'll see you in Novi in about four weeks."

"I'll help Ed find a good location for your new shop," Jolene volunteered.

"The old harbor would be great. I can purchase steel directly from the foundry in Novi. It will cut my costs quite a bit."

"You can stay with us until you find a place. We have lots of room."

"Jo informed me last night that we have adopted another nine year old girl."

"Will you be able to handle that Jody with your sister's special needs?" Mari asked.

"Gabby no longer needs crutches," Jolene said, "You should see her running and climbing."

"That's wonderful, you didn't mention that last night," Edward said.

"I had so much to tell you that it just slipped my mind."

"What else slipped your mind?" Edward teased.

"I have a dragon, four of them actually."

"Only four!"

"I gave three of them to my sisters."

"Jody has been filling me in on all her adventures since we parted."

"Why are you limping Ed?" Jolene asked, I just noticed, you hide it well.

"He went and got himself shot!" Craig said.

"I didn't see and wounds! Is it that pink spot on your thigh you wouldn't let me touch last night?

"It's finally closed, but I'm still a bit sore."

"I'm a witch," Jolene said softly. She placed her hand on his injured leg and then her hand glowed blue."

"It stopped hurting!"
