Brianna's P.O.V

After Tyler and everyone leaves. Me, Nick, Kristen and Charlie sit in the kitchen and start going over what's happened.

Nick sits beside me with a bowl of chips. "Why don't we just do what we did at first but better." He says with a mouth full

"We can't. We don't have the squad in case he comes with goons." I respond reaching for his bowl

Charlie cups her face and stares at the tap. "We actually gonna do nothing."

"What?" We say in unison

Before she could explain. I get a text from an old friend. Katherine Greg.

Can we meet. Really need the company. -Kat❤

She's hasn't asked to meet up for months. She moved after her graduation last year. She never told me why. I was always curious though, but never got the guts to ask.

Gimme ten minutes -Brianna.

"As much as I'd love to continue this mountain of depression. I gotta go."

"Where you going?" Nick stands up

"Outside. Where's there's trees and a blue sky. You know. Love ya. Bye." I grab my P1 keys and basically run out of the house

****

I arrive at the cafe and slowly open the door. She jumps in front of me and gives me a tight ass hug that had me coughing Afterwards.

"I misses you too." I exhaled heavily

She laughs and guides me to her table. She'd already ordered for me. Two glazed donuts and a large chocolate milkshake with whit cream.

"You such a babe. Thanks." my smile widens as I take a bite of the donut.

"Hope I wasn't interrupting anything."

"Nope. Just the usual depression that roams the house like a ghost."

"You guys are always in some shit."

"Yeah, well you get use to it after a while." I cough lightly

She looks around slowly and looks back at Me.

"Sorry I've been MIA for a while. Been going through a whole lot of shit."

"Wanna talk bout it?"

"I don't wanna bore you!"

I slap my forehead "Like you could ever bore me. Now tell me."

"Really." she gives me an exhausted look

"Yes, now tell me or I'll make a scene."

She sighs "Fine. I was dating a guy named Wallace Knight, he was from my hood. He's older than me. I had a crush on him and oh well I told him I liked him and stuff. So basically we dated, for like two years. The relationship was kinda good. I knew he loved girls but..." She clears her throat "As we went on he started cheating but I preferred him telling me when he decide to cheat. But the more he told me, seems like it tore me apart. After our relationship ended, he treated me like I was his only one, he seemed like a loyal guy every time we were together."

"Didn't that send weird signals to your brain. Or like warming signs." I interrupted

"Shut up!" She whispers "It was something else." She continues "It was love. It was something else. Best part my mom knew bout him. After our break up, everything changed. How I viewed love, my feelings, the butterflies, the blushing, I was basically torn apart. I cried myself to sleep almost every night. I wished I could remain a year without falling for someone new cause the eagerness of love I had was now changed. My heart no longer the same. I'll never love someone the way I loved him. I stayed single for 5 months until I was officially healed. That's why I'm back."

Everything she had said was slowly processing. I couldn't imagine her heart break. Couldn't imagine the pain she had to endure for so many months. My milkshake was all gone and I only had half a donut left. I was completely heart broken. The complete thought of it sent sharp spears to my soul.

"I'm so sorry. I can't..."

"Its okay. It was a long time ago. I'm Fine." she cut me off

"If you ever need anything. Just... just yell okay. Like as loud as you can. "

"Hahaha!"

"Seriously that shouldn't be a problem for ya. Since you so loud."

She gives me an annoyed look and eats her fries she ordered before I got here.

"How long you planning on Staying?"

"Just need to see Trissy, and I'm gone."

"She gon' be mad that you didn't come to her wedding."

"She got married!!!" She said in a shocked tone.

"You getting heart break and a funeral in one year, wow!"

"Who she get married to?"

"Chancellor Baker. The guy she been bragging bout since her high school days."

"Uh?"

"The guy, that's almost ten years older than her." I roll my eyes

"Oh." She looks down "Okay"

"She's very forgiving don't worry. But she'll kill you first."

She chuckles a bit and takes a mouth full of burger. Takes a few sips of her milkshake and attacks the fries.

"Do you need some time alone with your food?"

"No. I'm Sorry, I'm just really hungry."

"No!" I say sarcastically

"I really don't get sarcasm."

I scoff and eat the rest of my donut. A few minutes later the waiter comes and takes our plates. Katherine pays the bill and tips the waiter as well.

"So, after all that depression... What you planning on doing?" I stare at her emotionless

"Just gonna finish college, get a job. And retire young."

"Someone with an actual dream."

I laugh and get up from my seat. "I really should get back before they kill each other." I walk over to her and hug her "It was really nice seeing you Kat. Don't leave town without visiting me. Okay?"

She slowly let's go "I won't. See you around Coulson."

I turn around and walk out the door. Slide into my McLaren and drive to depression state. Hope things have cooled down. Cause I don't wanna kill anyone today. And plus I just saw a good friend. So I'm in a good mood.

Just wait until you see the people you call family everything will change.
