Chapter Forty One. You Killed Melvin?

Kristen's P.O.V

As soon as I left Melvin's place I headed straight for Campus which wasn't far from the town. I walked into my room which was filled with guys even on the first day of college we can't stay away from each other.

"Hey guys.." I sit on one of the chairs

"Everyone that isn't family. Get the fuck out!" Chris shouted

The guys started leaving until it was only me, Chris, Nick, and Thomas.

"What's wrong? Something happen with the girls?" Nick asks

"No they fine." I respond and cover my face with my hands

"Do we need to hide a dead body?" Chris asks

"Nope!"

"Did Charlie call off the engagement?" Thomas asks

"No! Stop guessing I'll tell you."

I tell them what happened and they laugh.

"Why you so fucking stressed then?" Chris chuckles

"He was halve naked..."

The room went silent for a while.

"Did you kill him?" Nick grins

"I'm sure he did.." Thomas grins as well

"Shockingly I didn't even touch him. After Charlie left I got in my car as well and left..." I run my hands through my hair

"Wait, like hold up! You don't actually think that they did it right." Chris asks with a sarcastic tone

"Why you saying 'it' like a fucking five year old." Nick glares at Chris "Just say fuck! Do you think Charlie fucked the guy?"

I didn't want to answer! Of course I trusted Charlie but after the Keith incident I don't know if I'd believe her if she told me she didn't.

"No I don't think she slept with him." I exhale softly "I trust her."

"Did he just lie to us?" Chris looks around the room

"Yep!" Thomas stands and walks out

"Its okay to admit you don't trust your girl, I'm sure she don't trust you either." Nick shrugs his shoulders

"True, she probably think you've fucked every girl on campus already!" Chris explains

"Y'all aren't fucking helping. I'm suppose to marry her in a few years and y'all feeding me stupid shit!" I get up from my chair and punch the wall "Look I love her and so does she. She didn't fuck Melvin, okay?" I look back at Nick and Chris and they nod with they eyes widened

Thomas walks back in with a girl following close behind him. "This is Danielle and make shit even!" He smiles

Nick and Chris immediately get up and shove them both out the door saying " Get her out! he will kill you both!! Save yourselves now!" They shut the door and get back to their beds and lay on them.

The next day....

I woke up and my hand stung. I wrapped it in a bandage and headed to class, and hour later class was over. I only had two classes today. The other I had in the afternoon. So I decided I should go talk to Charlie. I drive all the way to her called with one question on my mind. And you could imagine a 30 minute drive asking yourself whether or not the love of your life fucked her ex or not. Asking her was gonna be worse.

I arrive on campus and make my way to her room. I knock and enter. Brianna was sitting on her bed reading one of her books with a notepad and pen beside the other books.

"Hi." She waves

"Hey, where's Charlie?"

"She's still in class. What you need?" She makes her way to me

"Nothing... Just want to talk to her bout what happened yesterday!"

"Please don't tell me you gonna ask whether or not she fucked Melvin." She glares at me

"You and your boyfriend are a lot alike, you know!" I step back "Yes I was going to...I just want to know. I want to be sure!!"

"You're basically writing it on your forehead that you don't trust her if you ask her that bullshit." She puts her hands on her hips

"But..."

"Kristen?" I turn around and see Charlie with a confused expression

"What are you doing here?" She asks as she puts her bag down

"I wanted to apologize for not kissing you on the forehead yesterday like I usually do..." I smile

"Apology accepted. Thought you'd be mad about the whole Melvin thing.. Figured that's why you weren't texting me back.."

"Honestly I was, but after a while I realized I had nothing to be worried about." I kiss her on the forehead "I love you okay?"

"I love you too..." she smiles and hugs me "Wait what happened to your hand?"

"Oh I punched the wall cause the guys were telling me shit!!" I smile sarcastically

"Sounds about right!" Brianna comments and chuckles a bit

Yes I trust my fiance. After a while I head back to campus for my afternoon class. But before that I had to do something first. I stopped in front of Melvin's house. I got out of my car and shut the door. Knocked on the door. Melvin answered the door and I punched him in the nose. He fell on his back on the floor.

"That's for all the heartbreaks you've cause for my beautiful fiance."

I close the door for him cause I'm an awesome guy and walk back to my car. And on my way I went. Charlie was probably gonna keep reminding me bout the whole thing but it as worth it.

As soon as I get to campus I switch off my phone and head to class. Ignoring the guys cause I think part of them knew I went to do something really risky and wild. Cause that's basically what I always do right. So yeah... I hate this side of me but I just love Charlie too much to 'Almost' lose her again especially to a guy that couldn't respect her or love her as much I do. I'm excited to see her blossom into somebody amazing...
Now I just can't wait to marry her...
