Penny x Sentient Robot Male Reader

Story title: Electric Heart

Hey Nekos! This one-shot was requested by @the_Rolling_girl ^^ and I will be honest, I am very happy that someone requested a one-shot for RWBY😍 Me and my boyfriend absolutely love that series! Penny is adorable and it's been a while since I've wrote a fan fiction through a male reader 😊

Your pov

You sat in your seat, waiting to arrive at beacon. You were extremely excited even if you didn't show it on your face. You were quite curious about this new world around you.

You were a sentient robot. Not the first of your kind but the first male of you kind. You didn't even know what the other one looked like. You were made by someone close to the person who made the other sentient robot. That's all your creator told you.

One of the workers walked over to you. "We'll be arriving soon." You turned and gave her a blank expression. "Thank you." You didn't feel like showing emotions was necessary. Besides, that gives your opponent more ways to look through you. Once you arrived, you couldn't help but let the awe show in your eyes. This place looked amazing and you really wanted to explore it.

Putting your hood up, you started walking around the town. Hopefully you could at least make one friend. Your first friend.

As you looked around the town, you could see many other people who looked like they would be in the up coming tournament. The thought of your first proper battle against a team made you smile a little. I can't wait to show off my powers.

You were in such a deep thought that you didn't see the people in front of you. You walked into them. After hitting the ground, you quickly looked up, a glare in your eyes. Four girls stared back at you. "Why are we constantly bumping into people?" One of them in a red and black dress sighed. "Maybe we're just unlucky?"

"Still here guys.." You murmured. "Oh! I'm so sorry!" One with long blonde hair quickly said before grabbing your arm and yanking you up.

"Sup. I'm (Y/N)." You extended your hand. All of them seemed quite nervous to shake it. You were about to retract your hand out of awkwardness until a girl with bright ginger hair popped out from behind them and took your hand.

"Salutations! My name is Penny!" The other girls looked at the ginger girl, startled.

"Nice to see one person wants to greet me." You smiled a little. After some small talk, you wanted to be friends with them. They seemed nice, especially Penny.

"Ermm.." you felt really awkward asking them. "C-could we be friends?"
Oh god I sounded so stupid stuttering like that.

"I would love to be friends!" Penny smiled wide. The rest of them slowly agreed. Over the next week and a half you became good friends with the girls. They introduced you to the other people in there school and for the first time in your short life, you felt like you belonged somewhere.

But..how could you tell them that you're a robot.

Obviously you shouldn't. That's something your creator told you at the very beginning. As much as you can keep your emotions inside, you felt like you were lying to all of your friends.

"(Y/N) are you feeling okay?"

You turned and looked at Penny with a solemn expression. "Have you ever had something that you want to tell someone but you can't because you're scared they'll leave?"

She looked down and sighed, which was quite out of character for her. "Yes. There's actually something I've been meaning to tell you (Y/N)." You were filled with curiosity. What does she wanna say?

"Promise not to tell anyone!" She said and you quickly nodded.

"How about we say it together at the same time?" You suggested. She nodded before we both started counting down.

I'm not ready for this

"2"

She's gonna hate me

"1"

I'm starting to like her too...

A rush of emotions and adrenaline hit you as you revealed your secret.

"I'm a robot!"

"I'm not a real girl!"

.

You both stared at each other, your eyes wider than they had ever been.
"Y-You're the other Robot?"

We were both lost for words.

"Penny. I'm so glad I have someone else who's like me." You said, your face showing a a bit more emotion than usual.

Suddenly you were engulfed in a giant hug. "I am incredibly glad (Y/N)!!! We are closer than we though! Let's become closer!" She blushed slightly.

You quickly turned away to hide your red face.

"Y-yes."

You continued your day and at night when you were about to sleep, you realised what you were feeling.

...I really like her..

The next day you quickly sprinted down the hallways of the dorms 
that you were staying in and out of the building. All you could think about was Penny. She was perfect to you in every way and made you smile a lot. Obviously you couldn't say that you were fully in love with her. It hadn't been that long since you met but you knew that what you were feeling could be so much more.

Besides, who decides how long you have to wait for love! If you know you have deep feeling for them go for it!

You ran out and searched all around. Finally you saw that familiar ginger hair. "PENNY!" You saw that someone was trying to get her into a car. "STOP!" The man at the wheel looked out of the window and gasped.

"(Y/N) should you even be out here? What would your father say!?"

"He says he can trust me and that I'm ready. But currently I have some business to discuss with Penny!"
You looked at the girl, your eyes sparkling.

"Penny. I know it's weird and I've never felt anything like this before but...you make my electric heart tremble." Her eyes widened and her cheeks went red.

"I feel strange around you. I usually think that showing my emotions would be a hinderance and allow attackers to have more ways to look through me but..I'll show them for you." You smiled wide, you cheeks blushed red.

"I like you too (Y/N)." She smiled wide and did something unexpected.
She kissed your cheek!

She quickly got into the car and waved as they drove off. "I'll see you soon!"

Well I hope you guys enjoyed that. I know it sort of ended quickly and the story was shit but I swear I had trouble writing a story for this but I'm glad I at least managed to get something out!! I hope at least one person enjoyed this
