Lala x Female Reader

Story Title: Gloomy 

Hey guys! Happy 2018 everyone! Yeah I know we're 21 days into the new year but I've been busy so yeah! It's the end of an era... I have made a one-shot for all of the main monster musume girls now. All of these were requested by Azureman136 and I've really enjoyed doing them. I hope you enjoy this one-shot!

Your pov

You pulled your hood over your head and scowled at the sunlight outside. You had to go the shop today and as much as you didn't want to, you need food to live. As you walked to the shops, you put your earphones in and blocked out the world. You saw a group of people down the road and quickly looked down to avoid eye contact. You were very socially awkward and people often described you as 'The gloomy girl who doesn't smile.'

You could hear laughter over the sound of the music which made you walk faster, frowning as you did. Two minutes of fast walking later and you bumped into someone. "Oh crap. I-I'm sorry..." You stuttered before looking up at the person. 

There was no head. 

You didn't scream or shout. You just stared. You looked down and saw a head. The girl had long grey hair and pale skin of the same colour. She glared at you before talking. "You Mortal. How dare you bump into me and make contact with my body." You looked at her with silence. "You dare make my head fall from my body. You disgust me."  You felt tears prick from your eyes. You didn't expect someone you didn't even know to say such horrible things. 

The girl saw what she had done and quickly picked up her head and put it on. "I'm sorry! Please don't cry!" She turned completely different from what she was before. She was quite awkward too behind that frightening attitude. You laughed a little, something you hadn't done a long time, and rubbed the tears away from your eyes.  

"Thanks for that. I didn't think I needed that." The girl gave me a small smile and helped me up. "I'm (Y/N)...What's you're n-name?" You asked shyly. "Lala. I'm a Dullahan." She said, extending her hand out to you. You shook it and from that day forth you were friends with the Dullahan.

You didn't mind her personality. In fact, you found it quite funny. You have known her for around a month and you really enjoyed hanging out with her. You found that when you were around her, you were smiling more. She had already introduced you to all of her housemates and you had been going there often. You had gotten used to Lala and you couldn't lie, you were starting to develop feelings for her. Just a week ago, you'd both went to watch a movie together and it was by far one of the best days of your life. 

In the middle of the film, there was a jump scare that scared Lala so much that she jumped back, causing her head to fall off and land on your lap. You couldn't stop laughing but you had to be quiet so you had to hold your hand over your mouth. At that moment you realised that you were becoming more happy thanks to Lala.

Whenever you did hang out with her, Kimihito and the others you would manage to turn the conversation sad thanks to your gloomy personality. In the conversation, the topic of going to the beach was brought up and you're response was to instantly say "You might as well do it as soon as you can cause we'll all die before you know it. It's possible that we could all die tomorrow." The conversation after that was quite awkward and you couldn't help but feel as if you were to blame.

One day, Lala invited you to hang out and of course, you accepted. When you arrived at the house, you were surprised to see Lala sat there in a grey, long-sleeved shirt instead of her normal attire. Damn! She looks hot in that!

"(Y/N) please come sit down next to me. I-I have something to tell you..." You nodded, your face red and took a seat. What you heard next made your eyes go wide.

"(Y/N)...P-Please consider being my girlfriend! I didn't expect to fall in love with a Mortal woman but you're different." 

"Lala I would love to be your girlfriend." You said, instantly pulling her into a hug. You were so happy but there was one thought in the back of your mind.  What if I end up being too gloomy for her and I make her sad. I don't want to do that...

"What's wrong (Y/N)?" Lala asked with a worried expression that you hardly saw. 

You quietly explained what you were thinking and Lala's expression changed to something you'd never seen her have before. Scared.

"(Y/N) please trust me when I say that I promise to be by your side forever." She looked away with a blush and said. "Even after death, I'll take possession of your soul and we'll be together." You couldn't believe what she was saying. It was so sweet to you that you couldn't help it any longer. 

You pulled her into a kiss. This was your first kiss but you could feel the shock between yours and Lala's lips. When you both moved apart, you couldn't help but be embarrassed. You could tell Lala was embarrassed as her skin turned black which only happened when she was embarrassed. "W-Wanna go out somewhere n-nice?" You stuttered before holding out your hand. 

She smiled and took your hand. 

"I love you (Y/N)."

"I love you too Lala."

I hope you all enjoyed this one-shot! I've got a French-speaking exam tomorrow and I haven't done any revision. Yeah, I'm gonna die. I've been told I can drop it cause i'm that shit and French does make me wanna jump in front of a van but my mum won't let me drop it ;-; I'm gonna die. 

Anyway as I said at the start of this, I've really enjoyed doing these monster musume one-shots! I do need more requests for one-shots though so please request!
