Yuu x Female Reader

Story Title: Practicing Macbeth 

Hey guys! Wooo woooo more lockdown to come for me! I'm from the shithole known as England so if you haven't heard we going into lockdown again on Thursday. I mean we definantely need it thanks to Boris fuckin everything up but it still ain't a fun feeling. So yeah life is a pit. This was requested by royal_pain_ so I hope you enjoy!

(Y/N) had always been into literature. She loved to snuggle down under a blanket with a nice book and a warm drink. Yet there was something she loved even more than this. Yuu Kashima, her long time friend as well as long time crush. (Y/N) found her to be the most interesting person she's ever met. She loved her bouncy, boisterous personality more than anything and adored watching her perform.

As she walked through the school halls, she saw a big poster on a notice board. As she got closer a large smile formed on her face. "They're doing Macbeth!" She exclaimed out loud, a grin spreading across her face. "Yes we are!" A voice chirped up from behind her. "Yuu!" (Y/N) turned around quickly. "I was literally just reading this! Who are you playing?" 

"The main part of course! Macbeth!" Yuu grinned. 

"You're gonna be absolutely amazing Yuu!" She complimented her as they began to walk to the drama club. Yuu looked away, trying to hide her red face. She's too sweet! As they walked plenty of girls interrupted them on the way, all of them clearly interested in Yuu. (Y/N) had gotten used to girls being like this though she didn't like it. So many pretty girls were fighting her for Yuu's love. How am I supposed to stand out?

They eventually arrived at the drama club and greeted Hori. "I'm so excited to see Yuu being Macbeth!" (Y/N) exclaimed excitedly to Hori. He grinned slightly and agreed with her, well aware that it was, in fact, Yuu who suggested they do the play. He knew about Yuu's feelings as well as (Y/N)'s and was happy to help them. (Y/N)'s a good influence on Kashima... 

Yuu made sure no one was around before interrupting their conversation. "Hey (Y/N) would you want to hang out at mine tomorrow? I wanna practice my lines with someone who knows the play well." Yuu let out her signature smile to try and hide her worry about being rejected. "Yeah, that sounds like fun!" (Y/N) smiled back, her face slightly tinted pink. Yuu made a celebratory noise just as the school bell went, signalling the end of lunch. "I'll send you the information!" Yuu yelled as she ran away, a skip in her step.

The next day arrived and (Y/N) found herself back at school. They were lucky the school allowed them in to practice for the play and even more lucky that no one else was there. Some time alone...just me and Yuu... (Y/N) found herself grinning as she walked into the drama club.

"Hey (Y/N)!" Yuu greeted her. "Wow Yuu Kashima is on time?! Who are you and what have you done with her!" (Y/N) laughed. "I was on time because it's you!" Yuu said, a blush on her face. Thye both stood in silence for a second before starting. 

"I'll go no more: I am afraid to think what I have done; Look on't again I dare not." Yuu said, acting perfectly as Macbeth. (Y/N) looked at down at the script for a second before looking back up in full character.

"Infirm of purpose! Give me the daggers: the sleeping and the dead are but as pictures: 'tis the eye of childhood. That fears a painted devil. If he do bleed, I'll gild the faces of the grooms withal; For it must seem their guilt." She delivered the lines and walked off as if she really were Lady Macbeth going to frame the attendants of the dead king.

"Whence is that knocking? How is't with me, when every noise appals me? What hands are here? ha! they pluck out mine eyes. Will all great Neptune's ocean wash this blood Clean from my hand? No, this my hand will rather the multitudinous seas in incarnadine, Making the green one red." Yuu delivered her lines with such gusto, showing how she'd clearly studied the play.

(Y/N) could only look with awe at how brilliant the other's performance was. "Yuu that amazing! You took me right into the scene." The blue-haired girl looked down at (Y/N), smiling at how happy she looked. She had a twinkle of admiration in her eyes. She's so perfect...

They continued on practising until it got late and (Y/N) got a call from her parents. "Today's been amazing Yuu. I wish we could keep going but my mum wants me home." (Y/N) laughed awkwardly as she collected her things. 

Crap...I can't miss this chance!  Yuu thought as she stepped forward. "(Y-Y/N)! One sec!!" She stuttered as she reached out and grabbed (Y/N). She turned around, her face slightly red and filled with confusion. "We should do this again tomorrow!" (Y/N) blushed before nodding eagerly. "Definitely!" She gave a little wave before leaving.

"Tomorrow I will confess to her!"

The next day came and (Y/N) received a text from Yuu. "Meet me on the hill near town later on when it gets dark." With the text came a location attached. (Y/N) was confused to why that location but found herself quite excited. I wonder why we're meeting so late though...

When the time came (Y/N) made her way up the hill, wearing a simple (F/C) shirt and some shorts. We're lucky it's still relatively warm. She thought as she reached the top only to be greeted an adorable sight.

Yuu had a blanket spread out on the grass along with a few other items such as a speaker, a flask and a few books. "Hey (Y/N)." Yuu greeted her with a slightly nervous voice. "Yuu...what is this?" (Y/N) said, her face bright red. "(Y/N)...it's a confession. I've known you for long enough to know what you enjoy...So I thought that this would be the best first date for us...that's if you accept." She blushed and held out her hand.

"D-D-Date?!" (Y/N) exclaimed, her face heating up. "Reading under the stars with some music and coffee...I thought you'd like it." Yuu was now looking down at the floor, pretty sure that she had just been rejected. I knew this would happen...I'm not used to this.

"Yes."

"Y-Yes?" Yuu looked up with shock. "Yes I accept your confession." In a flash, Yuu had picked up (Y/N) in her arms and snuggled her close. "I love you (Y/N)!" She squealed in delight before setting her down and planting a kiss on her forehead. "I love you too but Yuu, you missed." She looked down at her new lover with confusion until (Y/N) got on her tip-toes and kissed her lips.

"That's better."
