Karma x Reader

Story Title: What are we?

Hey guys! Woah what's this? Jude putting out a one-shot on basically the same day as another one! Bloody hell we thought it was impossible! 😂 Anyway, this was requested by Shinata-sama a few months ago 😅 I'm so sorry it's taken so long! Hope you enjoy!

3rd pov

In the corner of his eye, Karma could see a girl rushing up the mountain towards the E-Class building. It was early in the morning and classes had started about 15 minutes ago. As the girl came into view, he internally moaned at who it was. (Y/N) (Y/L/N). He was attracted to her and watching her run it was obvious why. He grinned and stared at her chest bouncing up and down. Yep, that's the reason why.

As she ran past the tree he was sat at, he stuck his hand out and grabbed her. "AH!" She shouted and before he could realise, there was a green anti-koro-sensei knife pointed at his face. "Oh...Karma." She let out a breath as she sheathed her knife. "Don't scare me like that, you idiot!" She laughed and hit his arm slightly.

"But it's so fun to see your shocked face." He whispered in response, leaning closer to her face. As expected, (Y/N)'s face went bright red. Karma laughed, revelling in the sight of her flushed face. He enjoyed flirting with (Y/N) whenever he could, it was fun to tease her. "Stop it! I'm already late from class, which by the way you shouldn't be skipping!"

At that moment, Karma had an idea. He held out his hand and grasped hers. She looked at him, her face still red but now holding an expression of confusion too. "Can I kiss you (Y/N)?" Karma asked mischievously. 

Her eyes widened and instantly focused on the floor. (Y/N) had liked Karma for a while. He was undoubtedly attractive and for reasons unknown to herself, his mad and mischievous personality was perfect to her. But what if this was a joke? What if he was just teasing her?

Karma was studying her face and as if he knew what she was thinking, he reassured her. "I'm not messing with you (Y/N). I'm being serious." There was a long pause as the (H/C) haired girl thought. After what felt like forever, she slightly nodded her head. Karma let out a breath he didn't even know he was holding and leaned in towards her. 

Ever since that day, (Y/N) had been joining Karma sometimes when he skipped classes so they could chill and mostly just make out. It was fun and both of them enjoyed each others company, even if Karma wouldn't admit it. It wasn't difficult for students of the E Class to figure out what was happening when the two started not showing up for some classes. 

Once again, (Y/N) and Karma had skipped a lesson to lay together and just talk about life. (Y/N) was nestled into his comforting arms, enjoying the warmth coming from his body. "Karma come on we have to go to last lesson!" (Y/N) laughed and she pulled away from Karma. "It's just maths." He shrugged, kissing her cheek. "Yeah, my worst lesson!" (Y/N) fired back. 

"Okayyyy. I'm going to stay out here princess. You coming back here after lessons?" He smirked, his arm still wrapped around her. "Of course!" She stood up and gave him a quick kiss before heading into class. His eyes were glued to her as she walked away. The class knew what was happening with (Y/N) and Karma and they weren't afraid to ask questions.  

Well, they weren't afraid to ask (Y/N).

"So how did it start between you two?" Kaede asked after the lesson, a large grin on her face. (Y/N) turned to her, her cheeks tinted pink. "It just happened one day..."

"How far have you gone?" Okano chimed in from her seat close by. "Nothing like that! Just...kissing..." 

"Are you even dating? Knowing that Karma, he's probably just using you." Terasaka mumbled as he walked past the girls. (Y/N) looked up, her face dropping slightly. "Come on Terasaka that's not funny!" Kaede shot back, causing him to wince a little. "What?! I didn't do anything wrong." As they began to argue, realisation dawned upon her face.

What is mine and Karmas relationship? We don't go on real dates. We don't say we love each other. In fact, we've never even said we're together. I just...assumed.

(Y/N) felt her stomach churn as she began to feel ill. She quickly picked up her bag and ran from the classroom, needing to be anywhere but there. As she ran down the pathway away from the school, she passed by the usual spot her and Karma would sit.

Of course he was sat there.

Karma was beyond confused when he saw his (Y/N) run past their spot. She's supposed to be chilling with me after school isn't she?  He thought to himself as he watched her figure disappear into the mountain trees. He couldn't deny that he felt disappointed. He wanted to be alone with her again. I want to hear her voice again... He shook the thought out of his head.

"(Y/N)! Where did you go?" Kaede's voice rang out, catching the attention of the red head.

He walked out onto the main path and questioned Kaede. "Do you know what's wrong with (Y/N)? I saw her run past here." 

"I don't know she just ran away. I personally think it was Terasaka! That idiot said you were just using (Y/N) and that you weren't in a proper relationship! He's so mean to think that isn't he!" 

Karma didn't even respond to Kaede, he was already walking away, his hands shoved into his pockets. 

What are you doing Karma!? You know this was never like that. It was just physical! 

He sank back down against the same tree he'd been sat under with (Y/N) not that long ago. His head was racing.

What am I thinking? What's wrong with me?  Why am I feeling like this?

He needed time to think.

Your pov

The next morning you trudged to school, not wanting to go but knowing you had to if you wanted to know the truth. You approached the school, running late but refusing to run. You arrived at your spot to find the boy who had been on your mind all night.

"K-Karma." You choked out, trying to sound confident. 

"(Y/N)." He responded, his voice sounding hesitant.  You could tell he knew something was wrong.

You both sat down facing each other, which felt wrong since you were so used to being in his arms. "I heard from Kaede what happened yesterday." The air was thick with tension. 

"Karma. I just need to know. What are we?" You whispered, your voice becoming shaky. You couldn't look him in the eye. "Well. That depends on you and how you feel. Cause I know how I feel." You knew what you needed to say.

"Karma I love you. I want to have a proper relationship with you..." You mumbled.

"What was that (Y/N)?" Karma asked. You could practically hear his smile. "I said I love you!" You shouted, your face bright red and your eyes squeezed shut. "That's good." You felt a hand on your cheek, causing you to look up. "Cause I love you too." He flashed his usual grin as he pulled you into a hug. "I realised yesterday night when I was thinking about all the time we've spent together. Yes, you're physically attractive...but our conversations made me realise that you're so much more than that." It was now his turn to blush as he confessed his feelings. 

"Karma. I know you're shit at expressing emotions like that so you don't have to say anything else. Just...hold me please you idiot." You giggled a little and held him close.

"I love you Karma."

"I love you too princess."
