Genos X Reader

Story Title: Fan letters

Hey guys!  I get to write about our Cyborg boi 😍 This was requested by Shinata-sama quite a while ago 😅 I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get this out!

Your pov

The charms on your keys jingled and you put the key in the door. You entered your flat and removed your shoes. "Genos? Are you in?" You called out for your boyfriend and you were met with complete silence. Must be next door... You thought as you placed the shopping down in the kitchen. You put everything away before heading to the apartment next door. 

You used your key and opened the door. "Hey guys!" You shouted. A smile fell on your face as you heard two voices respond. 

"Welcome back (Y/N)!" Genos's energetic voice was heard followed by Saitamas contrasting, laid back voice. You entered the room to see Saitama laying down on the floor in his oppai hoodie and Genos sat at the table reading his fan letters in a sleeveless hoodie. 

"I brought the ingredients for a hot pot." You grinned as you saw the happiness perk up in Saitama. Genos had told you earlier in the morning that it was his favourite food and so you decided you'd make it tonight for the two.

You took a seat next to Genos and gave him a kiss on his cheek. "What have you been up to today?" He smiled a little and gestured to the pile of fan letters. "Reading all the fan letters."  A groan was heard from Saitama, who was very jealous of the popularity Genos got.

You were also not a fan of the fan letters, not because of the same reason as Saitama. Some of them were sweet, but some of them were downright overly explicit. You and Genos had been together for a while now and you hadn't really gone far in terms of sexual things. And who could blame you!

You didn't feel confident at all to show Genos your body because of the surprising amount of girls who would flirt with him in the street and through letters. You couldn't even count the number of times girls sent him explicit pictures in their letters. You didn't understand why they did it. Maybe they think he'll want to hook up with them once seeing the pictures...

Genos always responded to these advances in the same way. He would politely decline the advances and would throw away any pictures that were sent. Yet they still bothered you.

Genos was still a 19 year old guy, cyborg or not.

You left him to it and focused your attention on the TV, not even wanting to look at the letters. Eventually, both Genos and Saitama was called to a monster attack in the next city over. You wished them both luck and watched them leave.

You changed the channel on the TV to keep up to date on the monster situation. The monster wasn't too serious, only a Tiger disaster level, but you were still looking out for Genos. Then a flash appeared and Genos was there. Watching him fight in that sleeveless hoodie made your heart burst out of your chest. You could see Saitama on the side, watching Genos with his arms crossed. He's leaving this one to Genos. You thought, laughing at little at how out of place he looked in the crowd of onlookers. 

The fight was quickly over and you were about to stand up when they started interviewing Genos fans. The first was a little boy who was overjoyed. Then the second was a girl who looked like a god damn model! She started to profess her love for Genos, saying how strong he was and how much she'd love to meet him and take him out on a date. You looked down at yourself before quickly shutting off the TV. It shouldn't bother me but it does.

You decided to clean up around the flat as Saitama was bad at cleaning up himself. You picked up the bin bag of fan letters that Genos had thrown out for obvious reasons and sighed before hauling it over your shoulder and taking it to the bin outside. You dropped it into the bin and went back inside.

You were wiping a dusty mirror down when you stopped and stared at your reflection. You poked at your boobs and turned to look at your behind. I wonder if he thinks about...that stuff... As you continued to inspect your body you thought of the girl from the TV and the pictures Genos was sent. "Why would he choose to be with me..." 

 "(Y/N) what are you doing?" You turned and squeaked a little in shock as you saw Genos in the doorway. "G-Genos! I was clearing up!"

"It doesn't look like that." He said as he stepped closer to you. You began to look for an excuse to the ridiculous situation you were in when Genos wrapped his arms around you. You accepted the hug and nestled your face into his chest, which was surprisingly comfortable considering his body was mostly metal. 

"You should never worry about those pictures the fans send (Y/N)." He whispered, causing your face to flush. Before you could respond, he explained that he'd heard what you'd said. "I chose to be with you because you're absolutely beautiful both inside and out."

"Genos...do you think about...doing things like that because you've never seemed to show an interest..." You buried your face into his chest, hiding your embarrassed face from him. You felt a warmth coming from his body and looked up to see he was blushing heavily and his body was literally heating up a little bit.

"I mean...a little bit but I didn't want to make you uncomfortable." The usually serious, composed Genos was now blushing in front of you. Your eyes locked and you slowly leaned in before your lips touched. You had kissed before obviously but this felt different. This felt more...intimate.

"Hey! This is my flat guys come on!" You both separated from the kiss and looked over at Saitama. Genos began to ramble embarrassed apologies whilst you laughed slightly at them. "Okay okay, I'll go make dinner. Does that make you feel better Saitama?" The bald-headed man responded with an eager, child-like nod.

You left the room, leaving the two guys alone. Saitama grinned and nudged Genos a little bit. "Proud of you Genos." 

I hope you all enjoyed this one! Genos is such an innocent bean 😍 Also this is completely unrelated to this oneshot but it's related to MY LIFE. My boyfriend went to Chester Zoo today and he bought me a Sloth pillow and it's so friccin cute and AHH. He's such a cutie ❤😊 Anyway, hope you enjoyed lads.
