Fem! Izuku x Female Reader

Story Title: Beauty Pageant 

Hey guys! How's everyone doinnnn? I'm chilling out to the Super Mario Galaxy Soundtrack rn 🥰  This was requested by Mimishappiestday so I hope you enjoy it! Also in this Izuku is born female.

Your pov

"Hey Izuku!" I ran over to the green-haired girl. She turned at the sound of my voice and gave a bashful wave in my direction.  "Are you ready to see me in the Beauty Pageant?" I posed with a grin. Today was the UA School Festival and I was going to take part in the beauty pageant! It was originally Tsuyu and Uraraka who convinced me to do it but I found myself quite excited for it.

"Y-Yeah! I can't wait!" Izuku's smile was making me melt she was so sweet and cute. "I can't wait to make Eri smile with our performance." I felt my heart pang. I love her...Fuck I love her so much. "I'll try and catch the performance. I feel bad I can't join in but I need to get ready." 

"It's okay (Y/N)! I know you'll try just as hard for the pageant!" Izuku responded before leaving me to get ready. I was stationed next to Kendo and as we got ready we both decided to chat.

"(Y/N) you don't seem like the type of person to enter a competition like this." Kendo said out of nowhere. "Yeah I guess so. I sorta just wanna impress someone." I laughed awkwardly, brushing my (H/C) hair. She smirked a little bit. "Who are you trying to impress? Your crush?" 

I felt a slight wave of sadness hit me. "Y-Yeah. Even though I know it won't work..." 

"How do you know it won't work?" She asked, not even looking away from her mirror. I sighed. There was no easy way to just say 'I'm a lesbian and I like a girl who isn't.'  "I'm just not their type." Kendo stopped and turned my way. "Try your hardest (Y/N). Even if it seems hopeless. Impress them today and show them what they're missing out on." Her smile cheered me up a bit but it wasn't going to change anything. Can't change someone's sexuality.

I was lucky to slip out and sneak to my classes performance just as it started. The sound of Jiro's singing and the sound of instruments got louder the closer I got and when I opened the doors, my eyes instantly searched for Izuku. I saw a flash of green on the stage and saw her dancing along with the others. She looked so happy dancing up there. I could tell she was putting her all in just as she does with everything in her life. That's one of the things I love about her...

Once the performance ended I rushed back to where the beauty pageant was. I'll be beautiful for her! 

Izuku's pov

After finishing, I met up with Eri and Mirio before heading towards the stage where the beauty pageant was being held. "You excited to see (Y/N) Izuku?" Mirio asked, causing me to blush. "A-AH N-N-No! I mean y-yes... I mean..." I became a flustered mess as Mirio laughed. "You can't hide your feelings from me! I've seen how you look at her." I couldn't even muster a word to respond.

Was I that obvious?!

I love her so much but there's no way she likes me. I've never seen her show any attraction to girls. And even if she did why would she like me?  I looked down at my chest. I'm so flat...

The show started and when I heard (Y/N)'s name being called out, I quickly focused all my attention on the stage. She appeared on the stage and it almost felt like everything around me stopped. No one else was there but me and her. She looked stunning wearing a button-up shirt with a bowtie, a skirt with suspenders and thigh high socks with some boots.

It wasn't a nice dress like Kendo's, a traditional kimono like Bibimi's or an elegant dress like Nejire's. Instead, it was a more cosy feeling outfit that fit her just right. 

She used her water quirk to create bubbles all around her and the audience, causing everyone to cheer. I felt my heart beat faster as her eyes landed on me. She smiled and sent a bubble in my direction. It floated down to me, landing on my nose and popping, making my face turn red. She's adorable! I want to be with her forever!

She continued to dominate the stage before she walked off, her hips swaying perfectly. The rest of the show went on and in the end, Nejire won the competition. The crowd began to disperse and I saw the girl who had been on my mind running towards me, still in her outfit. "Hey Izuku! What did you think?" She grinned.

"I thought you were a-amazing!" I stuttered. "I'm kinda disappointed I didn't win but Nejire deserved it. I went for a different approach cause I thought a dress would be too obvious." She looked a bit disappointed.

"You should've won in my eyes (Y/N). You looked better than every other girl there." I said as a rush of confidence flowed through me. Her face went just as red as mine as she muttered thanks. We stood in silence and I saw Mirio behind (Y/N) giving a thumbs up to me. He started to mouth 'Tell her.' I considered it in my mind before deciding to take the plunge and do it. Better to do it now and take the rejection than leave it.

 "(Y/N) I l-l-l-l-like you..." I managed to stutter out, squeezing my eyes shut. I was ready for her to reject me and lose her forever but instead, I felt arms wrap around me. Something wet fell onto me and I opened my eyes to see (Y/N) crying. "W-What's wrong?!" I started panicking. 

"N-Nothing is wrong...I-I'm happy Izuku. I thought you'd never l-like me..." She looked up with a smile, running her hand through my long hair. "I like you too Izuku." She kissed my cheek and I felt my entire body explode. She's adorable...She loves me back.....

I collapsed to the ground, a smile on my overheating face. "I-Izuku? IZUKU!?"
