My heart may have quite literally skipped a beat. What was from Harry?

"What's it say?" I breathed.

"It's a DM."

"Hi love, it was great to meet you at the concert so glad that we make such an impact on your life. Never stop dreaming and I hope we meet again soon. xx -H" Blakely read. Holy shit. Was this really happening? Holy fuck bananas.

"What do I even say back to that? He's so perfect," I smiled and felt a blush creep up to my cheeks.

"I got you," Blakely chuckled.

"What're you doing?" I asked with caution. "Blakely?"

"I just said Hi Harry, it was really great to meet you and the boys, too. You made my life so much. I hope we meet again soon as well. All my love, Elle."

"Blakely!" I squealed, grabbing at the air for my phone.

"What? He was clearly flirting with you and likes you. I'm giving you a little more of a chance than just being your normal out going self."

"Blakely, you're delusional. He's Harry fucking Styles. He could have any girl in the world willing to suck his dick at a moments notice. He does not like me," I scoffed, rolling my eyes.

"You're the one that's delusional, princess. If you could've only seen the way he was looking at you, you'd understand," he replied.

"Maybe it's a good thing I can't see him," I sighed.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, everybody says he's a heartthrob and super hot. I can't fall in love with his looks, so I guess I'm lucky in a way. When I tell him I love him, I actually mean it and not just because his looks. The only thing I'm kind of sad about is, I couldn't see how he was looking at me at the concert."

"Well baby doll, he was looking at you like you were the only girl in that room."

"Did he have a smile on his face?" I asked, taking a sip of my tea.

"He did."

"I bet it was beautiful. I bet he's beautiful."

"He is," Blakely sighed. "You are too."

"Don't lie."

"I'm not. There was definitely something between you two and everyone saw it."

"Not me," I joked.

"Elle, I'm telling you. Just because you couldn't see it doesn't mean shit. I know you felt something too. You had to hear it in his voice."

"I don't really even remember. It was so surreal." I knew that was a lie spewing from my mouth. I remembered everything down to the way Harry smelt.

"That's a lie if I've ever heard one come out of your mouth."

"You caught me."

"Aw, Elle," Blakely sighed, pulling me into a hug.

"What?"

"You're so awesome," he chuckled

"I try." There was a silence between us as I pulled from the hug and felt around on his face until I got to his hair, ruffling it.

"Do you want the other half of this cookie?" he asked with a laugh.

"Um, hello. Look who you're talking to here," I mocked with a high pitched voice. Snatching the cookie from his hand with a smile, I chomped down on what was left. My phone vibrated once again and I excitedly looked to Blakely.

"What's it say?!"

"It's from dad," he chuckled.

"Oh. Nevermind." I couldn't help but feel utterly disappointed for the rest of the day. My feelings were so conflicted. I knew I was blind, never having seen Harry. For all I knew, Blakely could've been lying about what he saw at the concert. There was a part of me that wanted to believe him and eat up the words out of his mouth like Reese Pieces. The other part was skeptical and I could feel my wall going up. There was no way any of that could've really meant Harry wanted to go out with me or even look twice at me. He had girls who are supermodels, actresses, singers, ten trillion times prettier than I was. On the upside, they weren't blind.

Sometimes, I wondered to myself why God made me tall and blind. Couldn't I have had just one or the other? Preferably just being tall. Being blind wasn't something that was easy to live with, but it was the card I was dealt and I was embracing it. Maybe Harry could too. I couldn't imagine being deaf. Unable to hear their voices? I'd stick with being blind. Or, at least if I was deaf, I'd be able to see what they look like and tell them I want to do dirty things with them in sign language. I chuckled at the thought. If my ex boyfriend could handle me being blind, maybe the rest of the world could too. Including the ever famous Harry Styles.
