Kodaline- All comes down

Harry's POV:

I knew Ellen and I still had our problems to work out together and I knew us making love wouldn't fix them. But it was incredible to have her back in my arms. Just feeling the softness of her skin against mine was enough to drive me crazy and make me never want to let her go again. After our intimate moment, I had a new love bite and fresh scratches on my back. It wasn't lustful or rough, it was simply passionate and full of the love we hadn't expressed in a year. Twirling her hair around my fingers, I smiled at her fingers tracing over my tattoos.

"Harry?" she whispered.

"Yes, love?" I replied, kissing her hair.

"What do you think is gonna happen?"

"I don't know."

"You've got the next tour to worry about, I've got school, I mean, how are we going to make it work?"

"I promise it will get easier. We'll make it work." Short of inviting her to tour with us, that was the only thing I could tell her.

"I'm just nervous," she sighed.

"You know that I love you, right?"

"Yes."

"Then you have no reason to be nervous. It will work, I promise." I kissed her forehead and took a deep breath. Watching her slowly fall asleep, I looked at her. I mean, really looked at her. The curve of her nose, the shadows her eyelashes cast against her cheeks, the way her lips were slightly parted as she breathed almost silently.

********

"I love you," she beamed as we stood in the middle of the airport.

"I love you too. I'm coming to a game as soon as I can. Trust me, it'll be better." I couldn't help but smile even with the people crowded around us.

"You don't have to. I know you're with me even if you're not right in front of me." Her eyes were full of happiness and it was genuine.

"Flight 56 to Los Angeles is now boarding," burst from the speakers and I could hear her slightly groan.

"I don't wanna go." She pouted slightly and I chuckled before giving her one last kiss and rubbing my thumb along her cheek.

"Give 'me hell, babe."

"Always," she grinned and kissed me one more time before turning around and walking toward the gate. I could see she was trying not to cry as she turned one last time to wave before she disappeared. A wide, silly smile was on my face as I made my way back toward the parking lot and was stopped by a few fans.

"Harry!"

"Harry, I love you!"

"Harry, can I take a selfie with you?!"

"You're amazing, I love you."

"Don't cut your hair." Chuckling as I took pictures with the tiny girls and signed a few things, I finally made my way back to my car and safely got inside. Getting back to my flat, it was strangely quiet after the eight days Ellen and I had spent here together whether it was just the two of us or some of my friends with us. Walking toward the fridge, I found a sticky note on the door and smiled.

Don't forget that I love you.

Ellen's cursive was absolute shit, but I loved that she left me the little note. Opening the fridge, I grabbed a bottle of water, taking a large sip. Searching through the cabinet for some of the cookies we got while she was here, there was another sticky note.

Save me some. x

Chuckling, I took three from the package and put it back in the cabinet before walking into the living room and turning on the television.

"If you're just now joining us, there's breaking news out of central London today, a plane headed to Los Angeles, California has crashed upon take off."

Don't hate me! Thank you all so much for 4.4K!
