"It's my instinct to hide," I sighed, our foreheads touching.

"You don't have to anymore."

"Harry." I could feel the familiar burn of tears in my eyes and desperately wanted them to go away.

"Ellen."

"Why are you doing this?"

"You showed me something I'd never seen before."

"And what is that?" I sniffled.

"You showed me that there is someone out there who likes me not because of what I do, but because of who I am."

"Why me?"I knew I'd asked him that same question a million times, but I still needed to hear it.

"Because you're beautiful. You're smart, and funny and you've got this spark for life I've never found in anyone else."

"This most likely won't work out, Harry. I hope you know that."

"Why not? Why can't it work?" he asked with a fierce tone.

"Because, Harry. You're-"

"I'm what? Because I can sing? Because the band? That is all temporary. I'll always be Harry from Cheshire. The Harry from One Direction is only as long as our contract," he interrupted. "Just because you see me as Harry from One Direction doesn't mean I can't be Harry from Cheshire for you."

"I'm going to college soon. What then?"

"I'll come see you, obviously." His laughter made everything sound so easy.

"What if you can't?"

"I'll make sure I can. And even when we don't see each other, you'll know I'm with you." Bringing my face to my hands, I took a deep breath. I wanted to scream my head off. What was so special about me? I was a simple girl from a small town. I was nowhere near supermodel thin, but I wasn't like, super big. I knew I had been at one point and then lost it all. What would Harry want with stretch marks? Much less saggy boobs. Laughing at the thought, I wiped my eyes and took another deep breath.

"What's so funny?" Harry chuckled.

"All of this is so crazy. Lord have mercy. If I wasn't blind, I'd love to see it all."

"This is a pretty crazy world. Sometimes, you're lucky you can't see."

"That's what some say. But, the sad thing is, I'll never get to see what you look like. Or, when I have kids, tell my daughter she's beautiful. But, I guess life just kicks us like that to see if we can get back up and keep fighting."

"And you've kept fighting. I want to help you."

"You make me sound like I have cancer," I laughed.

"You know what I mean," he chuckled. "Cheeky girl."

"I do. However, what are we gonna do about you going home for Christmas?"

"Ah. That is a snag."

"Yep."

"Well, how about I stay here until the twenty-third, go home for a few days, and then come back?"

"Whatever you want to do is fine with me." I couldn't believe he said he was gonna come back! My heart attack was having a heart attack.

"You sure?"

"You've got four days here. You're bound to get sick of me," I teased.

"We've got four days, love. And I'd never be sick of you."
